Day 5 : Namdapha - Dibru Saikhowa
After breakfast drive to Dibru Saikhowa National Park (180kms / 4hrs). On arrival check in at Jungle camp. Rest of the day free at leisure & enjoy the vicinity around the camp. Overnight stay in Dibru Saikhowa.
A total 36 species of mammals have so far been recorded from the Dibru-Saikhowa, of which 12 are listed in the schedule 1 of Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972. The mammalian species of Dibru-Saikhowa includes - Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Jungle Cat, Sloth Bear, Dhole, Small Indian Civet, Malayan Giant Squirrel, Chinese Pangolin, Gangetic Dolphin, Slow Loris, Pig Tailed Macaque, Assamese Macaque, Rhesus Macaque, Capped Langur, Hoolock Gibbon, Asian Elephant, Wild Boar, Sambar, Hog Deer, barking Deer, Asiatic Water Buffalo, Feral Horses etc.
The Dibru - Saikhowa is equally rich and diver in herpeto fauna. 2 species of Monitor Lizards, 8 species of Turtles and 8 species of Snakes have so far been recorded from the Dibru-Saikhowa. 62 different species of fishes and more than 350 species of birds have also been recorded from the Dibru-Saikhowa.
The avifauna of Dibru-Saikhowa includes Greater Adjutant Stork, Lesser Adjutant Stork, Great Grebe, Indian Shag, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Night Heron, Yellow Bittern, Openbill Stork, Black Stork, Large Whistling Teal, Greylag Goose, Common Pintail, Pallas's Fishing Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Osprey, Crested Serpent Eagle, Spot Billed Pelican, White Winged Duck, Baer's Pochard, Greater Spotted Eagle, Bengal Florican, Pale Capped Pigeon, Great Pied Hornbill, March Babbler, Jerdon's Babbler, Black Breasted Parrotbill etc.
Day 6 : Dibru Saikhowa
Full day at Dibru Saikhowa - birding inside the park through trek and by boat. Overnight stay in Dibru Saikhowa.
Day 7 : Dibru Saikhowa - Panidihing
After breakfast drive to Panidihing Bird Sanctuary (120kms / 3hrs) - afternoon watch migratory water birds in the sanctuary. Overnight at a tourist lodge.
Day 8 : Panidihing - Sibsagar
Morning more birding in the sanctuary. Afternoon visit Ahom Monuments and temples at Sibsagar - the 600 year old history of the Ahom Dynasty in Assam. Overnight at Hotel Shiva Palace in Sibsagar.
Day 9 : Sibsagar - Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast drive to Gibbons Wild Life Sanctuary (100kms / 3hrs). On arrival check in at the tourist lodge. Later after fresh-n-up bird watching in the sanctuary. Overnight stay in tourist Lodge.
Day 10 : Gibbon WS - Kaziranga National Park
Early morning watch the Hoolock Gibbons in the sanctuary - the only ape species found in India. In the afternoon drive to Kaziranga (150kms / 4hrs). On arrival check in at Landmark Woods Resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Kaziranga National Park lies partly in Golaghat District and partly in Nagaon District of Assam. It is the oldest park in assam covers an area of 430 Sq kms along the river Brahmaputra on the North and the Karbi Anglong hills on the South. The National Highway 37 passes through the park area and tea estates, hemmed by table-top tea bushes. One can even see the rhinos and wild elephants straying near the highway.
Kaziranga National Park a world heritage site is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. It has been declared as National Park in 1974.
Kaziranga National Park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.

Day 13 : Kaziranga National Park
Morning birding trek in the neighboring villages and tea plantations. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 14 : Kaziranga - Nameri National Park
After breakfast drive to Nameri National Park (120kms / 3hrs) - afternoon birding trek alongside the Jia Bhoreli river that flows through the park. Overnight at the Eco Camp.
The habitat of Nameri is made up of tropical evergreen, Semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests with cane and bamboo brakes and narrow strips of open grassland along rivers. Grassland comprise of less than 10% of the total area of the park while the semi-evergreen and moist deciduous species dominate the area. Some notable species are Gamari, Titachopa, Amari, Bogipoma, Ajar, Urium poma, Bhelou, Agaru, Rudraksha, Bonjolokia, Hatipolia akhakan, ahollock, Nahor, Siya Nahar, Simul, Bonsum etc. Orchids include Dendrobium, Cymbidium, Ladies Sleeper etc. Tree Fern, Lianas, creepers are some of the specialties of this forests.
The most prized and most significant finding is the White Winged Wood Duck which has a flourishing population in Nameri confirmed officially in 1995. Till now 315 avian species have been recorded in the Park, some of them are White winged wood duck, Great Pied Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Rufous Necked Hornbill, Black Stork, Ibis Bill, Large Whistling Teal, Common Merganser, King Vulture, Long Billed Ring Plover, Khaleej Pheasant, Hill Myna, Pin tailed green Pigeon, Himalayan pied Kingfisher, Three Toed kingfisher, Fairly Blue Bird Etc.
Day 15 : Nameri National Park
Full day at Nameri - birding trek inside the park. Overnight stay in Nameri.
Day 16 : Nameri National Park
Morning birding trek in the park. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Nameri.
Day 17 : Nameri National Park - Eagle Nest Sanctuary
After breakfast drive to Eagle-nest Sanctuary bordering the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Reach in the afternoon and stay in a tourist lodge. Short birding trek in the afternoon. Overnight stay in tourist lodge.
Day 18 : Eagle Nest Sanctuary
Full day at Eagle nest Sanctuary - trek inside the sanctuary to sight rare birds of the region. Overnight stay in tourist lodge.
Day 19 : Eagle Nest Sanctuary
Another day at Eagle-nest. Overnight stay in tourist lodge.
Day 20 : Eagle Nest Sanctuary - Orang National Park
After breakfast drive to Orang National Park - the smallest national park in the state of Assam. Afternoon go for a jeep safari in the park. Overnight at the tourist lodge.
Day 21 : Orang National Park
Full day at Orang - enjoy elephant and jeep safaris in the park. Overnight at the tourist lodge.
Day 22 : Orang National Park - Manas National Park
After breakfast drive to Manas National Park (250kms / 6hrs) - reach late in the afternoon. Evening at leisure. Overnight at a jungle lodge.
Day 23 : Manas National Park
Full day at Manas - enjoy birding on elephant back and later take a boat ride on the Manas river for more birding. Overnight at a jungle lodge.
Day 24 : Manas National Park
Full day at Manas - jeep safari and trekking in the park for birding. Overnight at a jungle lodge.
Day 25 : Manas National Park - Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast drive to Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary (200kms / 5hrs) - a small 40 sq.kms sanctuary with the highest concentration of rhinos. Reach in the afternoon and stay overnight at a jungle lodge. Evening at leisure. Overnight at a jungle lodge.
Day 26 : Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary.
Full Day At Pobitora - Birding and Wildlife Viewing in the Park. Overnight At a Jungle Lodge.
Day 27 : Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary
Another day at Pobitora at leisure. Overnight at a jungle lodge
Day 28 : Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary - Deepor Beel - Guwahati
After early breakfast visit the Deepor Beel - a marshland with high concentration of migratory birds. Afternoon return to Guwahati and stay overnight.
Day 29 : Guwahati
After breakfast departure transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
