Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Wildlife Adventure tour combines the experiencing jungle Safari in Chitwan National park and witness the gigantic Himalayas while trekking to Ghorepani. From the top of the Poon Hill (3200m), you can get to see the fantastic views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Nilgiri (6940m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7219m), Tukuche (6920m) etc. On the other hand, the trails to Ghorepani will offer an opportunity to view stunning sub-tropical valleys. We can also explore the deep rhododendron forests and icy waterfalls on the trail.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek begins from Nayapul. We will then walk up to TikheDhunga. Our trail passes through grazing scenery and moves through oak as well as rhododendron woods. We will walk to Poon Hill, from where we can see the fantastic sunrise views over attention-grabbing peaks like Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and several more peaks. On the way to Ghandruk, you can view arresting sub-tropical valleys, thick rhododendron forests and frozen waterfalls.

After Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek we then drive to Chitwan National Park and visit the Park Visitor鈥檚 centre. We can see the sunset views by relaxing on the bank of Rapti River. We can able to see the Tharu cultural dance performed by the local villagers. And also we see an elephant bath or bird watching in the river beach.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Kathmandu

  Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure representative will be waiting you outside the terminal gate holding playcard with your name than transfer to the respective hotel.

• Day 2 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

  Day tour of Kathmandu city, after breakfast in the morning you will be picked up by our driver to take you to Swayambhunath Stupa ,Pasupatinath Temple , Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Darbar Square. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird鈥檚 eye view of the Kathmandu City. Afternoon, tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the 鈥渃ity of beauty鈥� is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu

• Day 3 : Drive by bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

  We will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu by bus taking about 6 hours. On the way, we will pass along with terrace villages, farms, as well as cities with eye-catching views of snow-capped peaks. Pokhara hold three attention-grabbing lakes in its region- Phewa, Rupa and Begnas. At Pokhara, we can also enjoy from sightseeing at well-liked tourist areas like Davi鈥檚 fall, Gupteshore cave, renowned Fewa Lake where you can enjoy boating and visit Tal barahi temple lying in the heart of the lake or sail to the next shore of the lake and hike to peace Stupa etc. Overnight in a hotel.

• Day 4 : Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (4hr) .

  After breakfast, About 1 and half hour Drive through large village Lumle brings you to Nayapul. The trek starts from here, dropping at first on a staircase and then traversing high above the river on a wide, stone-paved trail to a large and prosperous town Birethanti (1000m). The trekking trail today follows winding bamboo forests and waterfalls with plunge pools inviting you for a refreshing swim. Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, the trail reaches a small village Sudami, where you can have your lunch. After lunch climb steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille (1510m) and after a short walking, you will arrive at Tikhedunga, where you will spend the overnight at guest house.

• Day 5 : Hiking up to Ghorepani 4 hr (2860m).

  On this day, we will trek to Ghorepani passing Ulleri Village. This is one of the most important days of the entire trek. Ghorepani actually lies at the height of 2860m and takes approximately 5 hours to reach. On the way, we will traverse TirkheDhunga and also go across a river through a bridge hung over Bhurungdi River. In addition, we will walk pass by grazing scenery and cultivated regions through oak as well as rhododendron woods. We will then arrive at Nangethanti and then finally reach Ghorepani. Overnight at tea house.

• Day 6 : Early in the morning Hiking up to Poonhill (3210m)and trek to Tadapani 4hr (2100m).

  This day offers the memorable experience you ever had. We will move early in the morning to Poonhill which is located at the height of 3210m. Reaching at the top of the Poon Hill, we will be welcomed by the picturesque sunrise views over eye-catching peaks like Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and several more peaks. After that, we will walk to Tadapani taking just around 6 hours. Overnight at tea house.

• Day 7 : Trek to Ghundruk 4 Hr (1920m)

  From Tadapani, we will trek to Ghandruk that lies at the height of 1900m and seems like the community is unaffected by modernity. On the way, you can observe striking sub tropical valleys, thick rhododendron woods and frozen waterfalls. Here, you can also see villagers, apart from agricultural spend their time knitting baskets, clothes, and handle their resources. We can also sight enormous Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Tukuche (6920m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Nilgiri ( 6940m), Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) (6993m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and many other peaks. Overnight at tea house.

• Day 8 : Trek to Ghundruk to Nayapul to Pokhara (4 鈥� 5 Hr)

  Trekking for around 6 hours, we will walk downhill to reach Nayapul. We will also pass the grazing lands on the way in Modi River valley. We will wander downhill with green cultivated farms to Modi River. Then, we will go back to Nayapul. Next we will drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 9 : Pokhara to Chitwan 160 Kms (4- 5 Hrs).

  We will drive to Chitwan taking around 4 hours. On this day, we will visit the Park Visitor鈥檚 centre where you can see the record of about plants and animals in Chitwan National Park. We can also see sunset views relaxing on the bank of Rapti River. In addition, you will also witness Tharu cultural dance performed by the local villagers.

• Day 10 : Chitwan Jungle Safari Activities

  This is the second day in Chitwan National Park and experience jungle safari. The park holds 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tigers, elephants, python, crocodile, deer and more. You will also see an elephant bath. Or, you can go for canoe ride and have a jungle walk. Here one can also get pleasure from bird watching in the river beach and see over 250 kinds of birds in the park. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 11 : Chitwan to Kathmandu . 146 Kms/5 Hrs.

  On this day, from Chitwan with striking memories of viewing different types of plants, animals and birds, we will return back to Kathmandu. It takes around 5 hours to reach Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
