Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Colombo 鈥� Kandy

  On arrival meet and assist at Colombo Airport and drive to Kandy. On the way visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage (One of its kind in world). On arrival at Kandy, visit the Murugan Temple and later visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Late evening enjoy Kandy cultural show famous for fire dance, traditional dance. Dinner and Overnights stay at Kandy.

• Day 2 : Kandy 鈥� Nuwari Eliya

  After breakfast, we leave for Nuwara Eliya, visit Devon Waterfalls, Tea Estates/ Factory. Visit the famous Hanuman Temple in Pussellawa on the way. Later we arrive in Nuwara Eliya. Visit the City Lake etc. Overnight stay at Nuwari Eliya.

• Day 3 : Nuwari Eliya 鈥� Sita Amma 鈥� Colombo

  After breakfast, visit the Sita Amman Temple in Nuwara Eliya (Ramayanaya), Seetha Eliya The stream that runs from the hill, catered to the needs of Sita Devi during her stay at 鈥楢shok Vatika鈥�. She is said to have bathed in this stream. About a century ago three idols was discovered in the stream, one of which was that of Sita. It is believed that the idols have been worshipped at this spot for centuries. Now there is temple for Lord Rama, Sita Devi, Laxmana, and Hanuman by the side of this stream. It is interesting to note that foot prints akin to Lord Hanuman's are found by this river and some are of small size and some are of large size, which tells us of the immense powers of Hanuman transforming himself into any size. Attend special 鈥淧ooja鈥� ceremony arranged for you. Later we leave for Colombo. Overnight stay at Colombo.

• Day 4 : Colombo 鈥� Munnewaram 鈥� Colombo

  After breakfast, We visit the Munnerswaram Hindu Temple, Munneswaram Temple is one of the three celebrated Ancient Isvarams of Lord Siva - the other two being Thirukethiswaram near Mannar and Konneswaram in Trincomalee. It is situated about half a mile east of Chilaw. We first hear of this Temple in the Ramayana or the story of Rama and Sita, when Sri Rama Bhagavan is said to have found solace there of his heavily weighted conscience in respect of the many deaths in war and Killing of Ravana, Lord Ram got the 鈥淏rahmadosha鈥� because Ravana was son of a Brahmin Rishi 鈥淰ishrava鈥�, on this place after the war lord Ram stayed here for a while, established a Shivalingam performed poojas and other ceremonies. There after we visit Colombo City. The Gangaram Buddha Temple, Independent Square, Gale Face Road, etc, later Shopping at Odel and House of Fashions. Overnight stay at Colombo.
