Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : (Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok)

  Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (117kms/4hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 2 : (Gangtok to North Sikkim - Lachen)

  After breakfast pickup from your hotel at Gangtok and Transfer to Lachen135 kilometers, 5 – 6 hours drive - Chungthang is 96 kilometers from Gangtok – Lunch at Chungthang – Lachen is 35 kilometers from Chungthang Reach Lachen late afternoon / early evening - The snow capped peaks, the Shingbha wild life sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley, Thangu are the major attraction – It’s a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling snow peak mountains and the starting point of Green Lake Trek – In fact the village cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards – A hamlet with very few people – It almost like this town is hidden from the outside – Like a Shangri - La – Check into a hotel - Welcome Tea – Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village – Overnight stay at Hotel in Lachen.

• Day 3 : (Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Gangtok)

  Early morning breakfast – Visit to Gurudongmar Lake 55 kilometers, 2½ - 3½ hours drive - A valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the Holy / Sacred Lake - Next drive through the cold desert till Tibet / China back to Resort for Lunch – After lunch drive to Gangtok,135kms. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : (Excursion Trip to Tssomgo Lake & Baba Mandir)

  After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel. (Optional tour is, Nathula the Indo-Chaina border is 20 kms. from Tsomgo lake (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only on additional payment at Gangtok for separate permit)
• Day 5 : (Gangtok Local sight Seeing)

  After breakfast best point sightseeing tour in and around the capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms along with Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Center (24Kms/45Mins), the sect of the Kargyupa Sect – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

  • Hotspots Rumtek Monastery
• Day 6 : (Gangtok to Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)

  Morning transfer to IXB/NJP ( 125kms / 4.5hrs). Tour End.
