Day Itinerary

• 8 Hours : Full Day Istanbul Classic City Tour

  Minimum 2 participant needed.
  You shall be picked up from central hotels such as Taksim, Sultanahmet, Beyazit, Fatih, Besiktas areas. Your Istanbul Tour guide or agency staff will meet you at the lobby of the hotel to take you out on your planned Istanbul City Tour, this Istanbul Tour will take approximately 7 hours and afterwards we will drive you back to your Istanbul hotel.
  
  This is guided walking tour in the Old City where you will have the chance to visit the main attractions of Istanbul (capital of the Ottoman Empire untill 1923) in this full day tour. The Hagia Sophia; magnificent Byzantine church and the unique sample of Byzantine architecture, Blue Mosque; one of the biggest mosque of the Istanbul from 17th century and famous for it鈥檚 blue tiles and 6 minarets, The Ancient Hippodrome; the square in front of the Blue Mosque covers the site of the Ancient Hippodrome where once chariot races were held. The main monument left today is the impressive granite obelisk, carved in Egypt around 1,500 BC and brought to Constantinople in 390 AD. Our tour will continue with a visit to Topkapi Palace (will be replaced with The Underground Cistern on Tuesdays. It is known as The Underground Palace, is a 6th century cistern supported by 336 Corinthian columns. The Basilica Cistern is the largest covered cistern in Istanbul. It was built to supply water to the palace complex located nearby.) it was once the residence of Ottoman Sultans and their harem. We will finish the tour with a short drive to the exotic Grand Bazaar (closed on Sundays and Eid Holidays). The oldest and largest market place in the world with the unique collection of handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs. Our tours ends at about 16:30 pm with a free time in Grand Bazaar. End of the tour return to your hotel.
