Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Leh 3500 meters / 11560 feet & Local Sightseeing

  Arrival at Leh, full day rest for acclimatization, it is highly recommended for health reason. O/N stay at Leh.

• Day 2 : Indus valley tour

  Full day local sightseeing to Indus valley including Shey Palace- the former Palace of the Namgyal king of Ladakh, Thiksey monastery-an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, resembling Potala Palace of Tibet and Hemis monastery which is one of the richest and largest monastery of Ladakh andhave a huge collection of Artifacts, Paintings etc at their museum (85 km). O/N stay at Leh

• Day 3 : Leh to Nubra valley (4-5 hours)

  After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (One of the Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft), enroute visit Diskit Monastery, where you can see the Giant Statue of Maitriya Buddha and have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley. Arrive at Hundar by afternoon. Lunch at Camp, rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hundar Village and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. O/N stay at Hunder/ Diskit - Nubra Valley.

• Day 4 : Nubra to Pangong lake.(5-6 hours)

  After Breakfast visit Diskit Monastery at which have a giant statue of Maitriya Buddha have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive further towards Pangong Lake via Shayok river route, ReachPangong Lake (14,500 ft) is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Upon arrival, visit the location of 3 Idiots also known as shooting point. Later on you can take a walk along the scenic turquoise colored Lake and enjoy its beauty. O/N stay in a camp near Pangong Lake.

• Day 5 : Pangong to Leh (5-6 hours)

  Return from Pangong Lake, enroute visit Thiksey monastery-an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, resembling Potala Palace of Tibet and Shey palace & Monastery - seat of ancient capital of Ladakh. Evening free for shopping and stroll around Leh Bazaar (170 km) O/N stay at Leh.

• Day 6 : Sham valley tour

  Tour of Sham Valley including Alchi monastery- renowned for wall paintings dating back to 11Th Century, Likir monastery- which have a Giant Statue of Maitriya Buddha, Magnetic Hills, Confluence of Indus- Zanskar river and Gurudwara Pather Sahib (140 km). Evening Free for leisure and shopping at bustling Leh market.O/N stay at Leh.

  Early morning transfer to Kushok Bakula Airport Leh, and fly back. Your memorable tour ends.
