Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Trivandrum Arr. – Kanyakumari (90 Kms. – 2.5 Hrs)

  Welcome to God’s Own Country. Upon arrival at Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station proceed to Kanyakumari, which is also called Cape Comorin. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of the Indian Mainland and at the confluence of Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. It is enchanting to see sunrise and sunset from and into the sea at one single location in India. Later proceed for a half day sight-seeing tour of Kanyakumari visiting the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial & Thiruvalluvar Statue. End your day by watching the spectacular sunset at Kanyakumari Beach. Overnight stay at Sparsa Resort, Kanyakumari.

• Day 2 : Kanyakumari - Poovar (70 Kms – 2 Hrs)

  After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Poovar. Poovar is where Backwater meets the beach. Poovar is end of Kovalam stretch of Beach and is located about 20 km South of main Kovalam Beach. Poovar is home to and a small backwater stretch as well here giving it a dual backwater cum beach feel. Overnight stay at Poovar Island Resort.

• Day 3 : Poovar – Kovalam (20 Kms – 40 Mins)

  After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kovalam beach. Kovalam is known as the "Paradise of the South". This dreamland is an evergreen, serene, pleasant climatic and enticing beach destination. On arrival, check-in to hotel. Visit the crescent shaped beaches of Kovalam i.e. Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach & Lighthouse Beach. With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlight nights. Overnight stay at Taj Kovalam.

• Day 4 : Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

  After breakfast proceed for the full day sightseeing of Trivandrum. The temple of Anandha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Other sightseeing places are Trivandrum Zoo, Napier Museum, Srichitra Art Gallery, Veli Tourist Village and Shangumugham Beach where one can watch the amazing sunset. Overnight stay at Taj Kovalam.

• Day 5 : Kovalam – Kollam (80 Kms – 2 Hr 15 Mins)

  After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kollam. Kollam is an ancient port town and is also known by its anglicized name Quilon. The region came under the reign of the Chera Dynasty until the formation of the Venad Kingdom in the 9th century. The city had trade relations with China, Egypt and Malaysia and has been deeply influenced by the plethora of cultural exchanges that occurred during the Sangam period. The city is another tourist hub, a trait common with most major towns in Kerala and is known for its spices and cashew industry. Visit Thangassery, Thenmala, Palaruvi waterfalls, Thevalley palace and Shenduruny wildlife santury . Overnight stay at Quilan beach hotel, Kollam.

• Day 6 : Kollam - Varakala (35 Kms – 1 Hr)

  After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Varakala beach. Varkala is an ideal place to relax. It is situated in between Alleppey and Kovalam. Overnight stay at Gateway Hotel, Varkala.
