The Everest View Trek is a beautiful and less strenuous alternative to the more challenging Everest Base Camp Trek. It offers the opportunity to experience the stunning natural beauty and culture of the Solu-Khumbu region, while also providing breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
During the trek, you will follow the same route as the Base Camp Trek as far as Tengboche, but instead of continuing on to Base Camp, you will turn around and retrace your steps back to Lukla. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit local villages and monasteries, and experience the culture and traditions of the Sherpa people.
One of the highlights of the Everest View Trek is the viewpoint at Everest view hotel, which offers panoramic views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. The trek can be completed in about a week and is considered moderate in difficulty, making it suitable for those who are in good physical condition.
The best time to do the Everest View Trek is from September to November and from March to May, when the weather is typically clear and dry. The trek can be arranged through a local trekking agency, and it is recommended to hire a local guide and porter to ensure a safe and enjoyable trek.
