Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Prague - Arrival. Today鈥橲 Highlights:聽Transfer. Evening transfer to Old Town Square. 聽聽

  Welcome to聽Prague! At your airport of arrival, we shall be waiting with transport to take you to your hotel. Our guide will greet you at the hotel and provide you with all the necessary information. 聽
  In the evening, we provide a聽transfer to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and tourist activities. It鈥檚 a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.聽

• Day 2 : Prague. Today鈥橲 Highlights: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the rive

  Today we are visiting this capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Moldava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, we will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world (including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian). Return to hotel.聽

• Day 3 : Prague - Lauf - Wurzburg - Frankfurt. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Dinner included.

  We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see LAUF AN DER PEGNITZ, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. 聽Our journey continues towards FRANKFURT. Explore the historic centre and choose your favourite restaurant to dine in (from Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and so on).聽

• Day 4 : Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Rhine cruise in

  Today we include a small CRUISE ON THE RHINE, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR; undoubtedly the river鈥檚 most picturesque sector. After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to Holland. AMSTERDAM 鈥� arrival at the end of the afternoon -聽. At the end of the day, you will be taken to Rembrandtplein, one of the busiest squares in the city with plenty of restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Italian, and so on).聽

• Day 5 : Amsterdam - Volendam - Zaanse Schans - Amsterdam.Today鈥橲 Highlights: Picturesque typical

  Today we have a very exciting day, we will visit VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. After this we will go to Zaanse Schans to photograph its mill and its typical houses and will visit the cheese farm with cheese and wine tasting included. In the afternoon we include a panoramic tour of AMSTERDAM to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, its official buildings and parks, and will also see the technique of diamond cutting. 聽Transfer to the red light district, with its liberal values and its many restaurants from all corners of the world. It is very likely that you will have heard about this neighbourhood.

• Day 6 : Amsterdam - Brussels - Bruges - Paris.Today鈥橲 Highlights: Feeling Belgium. 聽

  We will leave for BRUSSELS, and will have time in the Grand Place and take a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later in BRUGES, the marvellous Flemish city known as the 篓northern little Venice篓. Time for lunch.聽Continuation to France. PARIS, arrival at the end of the day. 聽
  
  Recommendation: If you start or end your trip in Paris, we advise you to book an extra day or two in this city. In this way, you will be able to get to know Euro Disney, Versailles and other places of interest.

• Day 7 : Paris. Today鈥橲 Highlights: City tour in Paris. Boat ride along the Seine. Climb to the sec

  A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breath-taking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument. End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. At sunset enjoy dinner in 鈥淨uartier Latin鈥�, a very picturesque area of the historic centre where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. Return to hotel.

• Day 8 : Paris. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Free time in the City of Light.

  We go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum.聽 Free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris.聽 Rest of the day free.

• Day 9 : Paris - Noyers - Beaune - Lyon. Today鈥橲 Highlights:聽Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne reg

  We travel to the centre of France to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. A stop in NOYERS, a small mediaeval town classified amongst the prettiest places in France. 聽After this we will visit BEAUNE in the centre of the Bourgogne region where its streets full of flowers, its hospice and its wine museum can be reminders of your trip. Time for lunch.聽LYON 鈥� Arrival mid-afternoon -, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rh么ne, its historic centre has been declared a World Heritage site. Free time.

• Day 10 : Lyon - Geneva - Zurich. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Swiss Landscapes. Centre of Geneva聽 聽

  We have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland.聽GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, go to the Palais des Nations (the United Nations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful 鈥淛ardin Anglais鈥� with its flower clock, and admire the 鈥淛et d鈥橢au鈥�, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel Lakes (note: depending on the number of travellers from Geneva to Z眉rich, this trip might be done by train).

• Day 11 : Zurich - Rapperswil - Zurich. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Boat trip across Zurich lake. Journey by

  With our guide, we will stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country. The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a trip lasting almost two hours on Zurich lake. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train, and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic centre, next to the lake, where you can dine at your favourite restaurant (Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, Swiss, etc.).聽

• Day 12 : Zurich - Interlaken - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Admire the fantas

  Today麓s stage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Take a stroll through INTERLAKEN and follow to GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald first. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the 篓footbridge over the empty篓 among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Returning to the heart of Zurich, enjoy an evening at the city鈥檚 most popular restaurants (Indian, Oriental, Middle Eastern, Swiss, etc.).

• Day 13 : Zurich - Bern - Meiringen - Furkapass - Milan. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Route crosses marvellou

  Amongst hills we travel to聽BERN, the capital of the confederation and time for a stroll. After this, we will cross the Alps on a stage of great scenic interest. We will follow beautiful lakes to聽MERINGEN, where the novelist wished Sherlock Holmes to die. In Meringen we will stop and have lunch. We then cross one of the most spectacular mountain passes in Switzerland, the聽Furkapass, with eternal snows and glaciers. We will stop at the聽ICE CAVE聽and at the viewpoint over the Rhone Glacier (until early June and after the beginning of October, the mountain pass may be closed due to snow. In this case the alternative visit will be to the聽AARESCHLUCHT聽gorges in Meiringen). Arrival in聽MILAN聽at the end of the afternoon. There will be time to dine at the Porta Venecia (Port of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants can be found to delight your palate. From restaurants serving Swiss and Italian food, to French, Chinese and international food. Transfer to hotel.

• Day 14 : Milan - Pisa - Rome. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Centre of Milano. Leaning Tower of Pisa.

  Time in聽MILAN 聽in which we can see its great cathedral and the galleries in the centre. Then we continue towards聽PISA. On a little tourist train we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the afternoon.聽

• Day 15 : Rome. Today鈥橲 Highlights: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum (admission price included) and

  In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to 鈥淭he Eternal city鈥�. We visit the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter鈥檚 Basilica. And we have also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive con颅struction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening we provide transport to the Via Cavour area, were you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and interna颅tional food. Return to hotel

• Day 16 : Rome - Madrid. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Flight Rome 鈥� Madrid. Evening transfer to the Gran Vi

  After breakfast a transfer takes you to the airport to flight at around 11 am to Madrid. Upon arrival we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfer to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de Es颅pa帽a and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.聽

• Day 17 : Madrid. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Madrid city tour. Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bu

  This morning, experience the city on a聽guided tour, which showcases the city鈥檚 vibrant centre, the beautiful Plaza Mayor (Main Square), its broad and magnificent avenues and its many fountains. Our tour includes a visit to see inside the聽Plaza de Toros de las Ventas, a fine-looking building. Here we learn about the tradition of 鈥渃orridas鈥澛� in the Bullfighting 聽Museum. Also the day includes a walking tour of the beautiful聽Retiro Park, enhanced by the lake and Crystal Palace. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. If you wish, there is an optional visit to the ROYAL PALACE. At sunset we provide聽transfer to the Plaza de Oriente聽in the historic centre of Madrid, opposite the Royal Palace. In this area there are many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, Inter颅national). Return to hotel.

• Day 18 : Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Montserrat - Barcelona. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Bas铆lica del Pila

  We depart early in the morning from Madrid. Heading towards Arag贸n, we pause our journey in ZARAGOZA. Our guide will join the group to聽Bas铆lica del Pi颅lar. We visit this impressive sanctuary. Directly afterwards, the group will have free time in the city centre. Later, we make our way to Catalu帽a聽 to the聽Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world聽(entrance and guided tour included). We then go on to the聽Monastery of Montserrat聽where we聽include a ride on the rack train聽for the fantastic views this gives. Continuation to 聽BARCELONA, arrival in the late afternoon.聽
  
  Important note:聽in the winter months, from November to March (included), due to the shorter days, the Monastery of Poblet will not be visited (so that we can reach Montserrat in the daylight).

• Day 19 : Barcelona. Today鈥橲 Highlights: Barcelona city tour. 鈥淪panish Village鈥� visit and evenin

  Today we will get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Medi颅terranean Sea. Our visit includes an informative聽city tour聽with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visit the city鈥檚 historic central area with its Gothic neigh颅bourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. It will be possible to see and photograph La Sagrada Fa颅milia basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaud铆. Subsequently, we include the聽entry ticket to 鈥淧oble Espanyol鈥澛�(meaning 鈥淪panish Village鈥�). This open air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we provide聽transfer to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata颅lunya聽area, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants (including Indian, Chinese, Halal, International and regional Spanish cuisine). Return to hotel.
