This package is an African safari dream come true, featuring two of Kenya鈥檚 most game rich and scenic areas, as well as elegant camps in each. Lewa Conservancy is located in the shadow of Mt Kenya and offers stunning contour, while the Mara North Conservancy is savannah and riverine.
The relaxed pace of this safari - two nights at Lewa Safari Camp and four nights at Karen Blixen Camp - allows for travelers to settle in and enjoy each area to the fullest extent. All meals and domestic beverages are included in camp, and game activities are flexible and guest-determined. While at Karen Blixen Camp, an optional hot air balloon safari is available. Travel is by domestic flights; maximizing your time in each region.
Both Lewa Safari Camp and Karen Blixen Camp are renown for their social responsibility ethos, and guests are invited to learn more about these inspiring initiatives. At Lewa, conservation of threatened rhinos has long been a goal and the program is a successful model for other conservancies. At Karen Blixen Camp, the Hospitality, Cooking and Forestry schools are training local Maasai youth for jobs in growth areas, many of them at the camp itself.

Day 1 : Nairobi
Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to Nairobi InterContinental hotel for an overnight. Depending on time of arrival, you may want to visit Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary or Kazuri Beads.
Day 2 : Lewa Conservancy
A professional driver guide will pick you from the InterContinental Hotel and transfer you to Wilson domestic airport in time for your flight, departing Wilson at 9:15am, arriving Lewa at 10:15am. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Lewa Safari Camp. Your first game drive will be this afternoon, followed by sundowners and dinner, including all beverages.
Day 3 : Lewa Conservancy
Spend this day in the Lewa Conservancy, with early morning and afternoon game drives or walks. Your ranger guide will discuss your options and make recommendations for your time in this beautiful conservancy in the shadow of Mt Kenya.
Day 4 : Lewa to Mara North Conservancy
Game drive enroute to the Airstrip in time for your flight to Mara departing at 10:05am 鈥� arriving Mara North at 11:30am. Met and transferred to Karen Blixen Camp. This afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Conservancy. Your ranger may take you to Leopard Lane where you drive slowly beneath the trees that leopard love to hide in. Or, he may take you to the savannah where prides of lion love to find a sunny spot. After a magnificent day of game viewing, your evening festivities will begin, and each evening will be different. First, you鈥檒l enjoy sundowners in one of the Camp鈥檚 special locations 鈥� perhaps by the river to see what wildlife comes down for a drink, perhaps by a roaring bonfire where tales of Karen Blixen will be told. Dinner follows, and the dinner site might be indoors, or out in the bush under trees festooned with lanterns.
Day 5 : Mara North Conservancy
This day will be spent in the Mara North conservancy on game drives. You may opt to do a half day, full day or morning and afternoon game drives 鈥� its your choice.
Day 6 : Mara North Conservancy
After breakfast depart with goumet picnic lunches for a full day spent within the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya鈥檚 premier national park.
Day 7 : Mara North Conservancy
This day is full of choices 鈥� you can choose to spend in the Mara North conservancy on game drives. You may opt to do a half day, full or morning and afternoon game drives. Or, if you prefer to just relax by the river, you will see hippos, elephants and other wildlife. An optional activity that we highly recommend is a hot air ballooning safari. There is nothing like floating quietly over the savannah and seeing wildlife below.
Day 8 : Return to Nairobi for departure
After breakfast, enjoy a last game drive enroute to the airstrip in time for your flight to Wilson Airport departing at 11:15am 鈥� arriving Wilson at 1:00pm. You will be met by a Beyond Safaris representative and transferred to the international airport for your flight home.
