A trip to Dovbush Rocks is a good idea for travellers who want to spend one day at the mountains without long hikes and extra physical efforts. The rocks are located in a 2 hours drive from Lviv and could be reached by car. The rocky chain is an unique place which appeared million years ago. You will get a lot of pleasure and emotions while hiking and jumping from rock to rock.
Group tour fee: 300 UAH per person. Price includes: transportation during the tour, a map of the Lviv region + print-outs with information about the sights, entrance fee to the national park, where the Dovbush rocks are located (the tour is guided in Ukrainian/Russian languages).
Optional: you could also take a Carpathian train during the trip (70 UAH per person).
Trip duration: 09:00 鈥� 19:00. Total distance: 300 km.

Individual tour fee: by car 鈥� 2100 UAH by minibus (up to 8 persons) 鈥� 2400 UAH
Price includes a car (minibus) with a driver, who鈥檒l accompany you.
You can take an English-speaking guide with you at the cost of 400 UAH / per hour.
During the tour, you will visit Dovbush rocks, Goshiv monastery, and you can also make a trip by the Carpathian train (optional).

The rocks were named after the legendary Ukrainian hero Oleksa Dovbush, the leader of Opryshky鈥檚 bands. This hero is compared with a famous English folklore character 鈥� Robin Hood.

You will get a lot of pleasant emotions while hiking and jumping from rock to rock. Dovbush Rocks, the Carpathians, UkraineThere are many places in the Carpathian Mountains that are called Dovbush Rocks. One of these places is not far away from Bolekhiv in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The unique rocks lie along 26 hectares of the picturesque national park territory. The forest path is creeping between the rocks like a snake. According to a legend, every mysterious stone of these huge rocks is a part of the legendary hero Oleksa Dovbush body, and a person who touches the stone that is his heart can make a wish and the wish will come true.
