Package Overview

The DoDham Yatra is a spiritual pilgrimage in Uttarakhand that takes devotees on a journey to two of the four holy shrines of Hinduism – Kedarnath and Badrinath. The Yatra is a sacred and life-changing experience that offers a chance to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu while immersing oneself in the serene beauty of the Himalayan region.
The Yatra starts with a visit to Kedarnath, located at an altitude of 3,583 meters above sea level. Devotees have to trek through challenging terrains and snow-capped peaks to reach the temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era and is one of the most revered shrines in Hinduism.

After visiting Kedarnath, the Yatra takes devotees to Badrinath, located at an altitude of 3,133 meters above sea level. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is believed to have been built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. The temple’s main deity is a black stone idol of Lord Vishnu, and the temple is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges, making it a breathtaking sight.
The Do Dham Yatra is a unique and soul-stirring experience that offers an opportunity for spiritual rejuvenation and personal growth. It requires a certain level of physical fitness and mental preparedness, but the journey is undoubtedly worth the effort.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Haridwar to Sitapur (220 km, 8 hours)

  • On day 1, you will be picked up from Haridwar and driven to Sitapur,
  which is the starting point of the Do Dham Yatra.
  • Upon arrival in Sitapur, you will check into your hotel - Tribhuvan
  Cottage or similar.
  • You will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Sitapur to Kedarnath (19 km trek, 6-7 hours)

  • After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Gaurikund, which is the
  starting point of the trek to Kedarnath.
  • From Gaurikund, you will begin the 19 km trek to Kedarnath, which
  takes around 6-7 hours.
  • Upon arrival in Kedarnath, you will check into your camp or room
  (depending on your package).
  • You will have dinner and spend the night in Kedarnath.

• Day 3 : Kedarnath to Sitapur (19 km trek, 5-6 hours

  • After breakfast, you will begin your trek back to Gaurikund.
  • From Gaurikund, you will be driven back to Sitapur.
  • Upon arrival in Sitapur, you will check into your Cottage 0r hotel and
  have dinner before retiring for the night.

• Day 4 : Sitapur to Pipalkoti (180 km, 7-8 hours)

  • After breakfast, you will be driven to Pipalkoti.
  • Upon arrival in Pipalkoti, you will check into your hotel - Agrawal Hotel,
  Hotel Dholy Ganga, Hotel kalian or similar.
  • You will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Pipalkoti to Badrinath (72 km, 3-4 hours)

  • After breakfast, you will be driven to Badrinath.
  • Upon arrival in Badrinath, you will check into your hotel - Hotel Badri
  Kailasham.
  • In the evening, you will visit the Badrinath Temple and attend the
  evening aarti.
  • You will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Badrinath to Haridwar (310 km, 10-11 hours)

  • After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Haridwar.
  • Upon arrival in Haridwar, you will be dropped off at your desired
  location.
