The tourism industry of Tamil Nadu is the largest in India, with an annual growth rate of 16 per cent. Tourism in Tamil Nadu is promoted by Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC), a Government of Tamil Nadu undertaking. According to Ministry of Tourism statistics, 4.68 million foreign (20.1% share of the country) and 333.5 million domestic tourists (23.3% share of the country) visited the state in 2015 making it the most visited state in India both domestic and foreign tourists.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL

  Arrive at Chennai International Airport / Chennai railway station and meet our representative. Get transferred to Tirupati on the same day. Reach Tirupati and check-in at the hotel. Rest for some time and later proceed to visit the local temples in the town. At first visit the Padmavathi temple, it is believed that Goddess MahaLakshmi herself emerged as Sri Padmavati from a golden lotus here. The Tirupati yatra is incomplete without a visit to this temple. Then proceed to Sri Govindarajaswami temple that is the main landmark of Tirupati town. Further, proceed to visit the Kapila Teertham, which is considered one of the 108 holy teerthas (Springs) in the vicinity. Head back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Tirupati.
• Day 2 : TIRUPATI BALAJI

  After breakfast enjoy your morning at leisure or you can visit the Tirupati Balaji Darshanon your own. The pure gold plated Tirumala Shrine is a masterpiece of fine Indian temple architecture. In the afternoon check-out from the hotel and proceed to Vellore, the fort city of Tamil Nadu. As you arrive check-in at the hotel. Enjoy your evening at leisure and relax during the overnight stay in the hotel at Vellore.
• Day 3 : THE GOLDEN TEMPLE OF SRIPURAM

  Enjoy the tasty breakfast and spend your morning at leisure. You can also visit the golden temple of Sripuram on your own. The temple has gold covering along with a beautiful artwork done by using gold. Check-out from the hotel in the afternoon and proceed to Chennai. On arrival check-in at the hotel and spend your evening at leisure. Relax for an overnight stay at the hotel in Chennai.
• Day 4 : DEPARTURE

  Have a delicious breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Go for a local Chennai city tour. Visit the St. George Fort which is the first British establishment in India. Then visit the Kapaleeshwarar temple and Parthasarathy temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Next visit the Government Museum located at the Pantheon complex that has the largest collection of Roman antiquities and also check out the National Art Gallery which is one of the oldest art galleries in India. After the city tour of Chennai, get transferred to the Chennai International Airport/ Chennai railway station for your onward journey back home. Depart with enduring memories of charismatic Tamil Nadu.
