Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh to Shimla

  On arrival at Chandigarh airport you are met and transferred to Shimla at a short distance of approx 3 hours. Arrive and checkin to your hotel.The heady combinations of chill mountain air, orchards and colonial charms still make Shimla a dream get away. Later you can walk to the famous Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple, stop for a while at the beautiful stained-glass-windows of Christ Church. Walk through the mall which is the lifeline of Shimla and see the Suicide Point. Return to hotel and overnite Shimla.

• Day 2 : Shimla

  After breakfast, proceed to Kufri (Winter sports capital), situated at an altitude of 8500feet, Himalayan Zoo, you can take some photographs in the traditional Himachali outfits. Take an optional horse ride or yak ride and enjoy the refreshing climate and scenic beauty. Visit Naldehra famous for its 9 hole golf course. Return to hotel. Evening you can visit the Mall, Lakkad Bazaar and enjoy some shopping and overnite Shimla.

• Day 3 : Shimla to Manali

  After breakfast, you leave for Manali. at a driving distance of approx 7 hours. Your drive is via Bilaspur, Mandi and Kullu alongside the awe inspiring Himalayas and the meandering Beas River. En route have lunch and visit the Kullu Shawl Factory where you may buy shawls, sweaters and other woolen products. Arrive at Manali and checkin to your hotel and relax and overnite Manali.
• Day 4 : Manali

  After breakfast, visit the ancient Hidimba Temple where you can enjoy a yak ride and get some photographs in the tradtional Himachali outfits, Manu Mandir and Manali Club House where you may enjoy river crossing and skating. Also visit Naggar castle and Vashisht Bath. Later leave for hotel and relax. Evening you can visit the local bazaars to shop for some mementos. Overnite Manali.
• Day 5 : Manali - Rohtang

  Today after an early breakfast ,you proceed to Snow Point (Rohtang Pass - 13450 feet above sea level). The place is also known as Trekker’s Paradise. If one wants to feel the touch of snow even in summers, then Rohtang is the ideal place where horse riding, skiing, sledging (optional) and other adventure activities can be enjoyed. En route pick up overcoats, gloves and boots (optional). The chilling climate and hot coffee would excite you enough to play in the snow. The excursion to Rohtang Pass/ Snow Point has to be done on own with local taxis as per the prevalent laws in Manali. Later on return you visit the scenic Solang Valley, 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, it is famous for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing(optional). Giant slopes of lawn comprise Solang Valley and provide it its reputation as a popular ski resort. Return to hotel and overnite Manali.

• Day 6 : Manali to Dharmshala

  After breakfast proceed to Dharamshala ,the principal township of the Kangra Valley region which is magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains.Your drive is via Kullu, Mandi , Joginder Nagar and Palampur. Enroute you can visit the Baijnath temple. Arrive and transfer to hotel . Evening free at leisure or you can explore the local Tibetan markets. Overnite Dharamshala.

• Day 7 : Dharmshala to Dalhousie

  Morning after breakfast a quick sightseeing tour of the Mcleodgung monastery,Kangra Art Museum and leave for Dalhousie a beautiful hill resort still resminscent of British times. Checkin to hotel and later evening at leisure and you could take a short walk to the Mall and overnite Dalhousie.
• Day 8 : Dalhousie – Chamba – Khajjiar

  After Breakfast visit Kalatop, and proceed on an excursion to khajjiar famous as India`s mini Switzerland with its snow capped mountains and pine trees, Khajjiar is one of Indias best saucer shaped meadow lined with tall deodar trees and a lake in the midst.Proceed to Chamba (famous for Temples), Lakshmi Narayan temple,Akhand Chandi Palace etc and Later return to hotel at Dalhousie and dinner and overnite.
• Day 9 : Dalhousie to Amritsar

  Today after an early breakfast check out and you depart for the holy city of Amritsar. Checkin to hotel. Sightseeing covering Jalianwala Bagh..Later proceed directly to Wagah Border (Indo – Pak Border). Watch the changing of guards and the elaborate ceremony. Return to Amritsar and checkin to hotel and later visit the beautiful Golden Temple and overnite Amritsar

• Day 10 : Amritsar to Chandigarh

  After Breakfast check out & proceed to Chandigarh, - Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of india designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city was named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple chandi mandu is a feature of the new city. On arrival check in Hotel. Evening visit the famous Rock Gardens and Pinjore Gardens. Overnite stay at Chandigarh.
