Sikkim鈥檚 capital Gangtok is bedecked in culture and Tibetan influence with monasteries and buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. About 100 kms up north, Lachung is a quaint village close to the Tibetan border. It is divided by the Lachung River, surrounded by waterfalls, pine forests and hot springs. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival At Bagdogra/ Njp and Transfer to Gangtok

  On Arrival At Njp Railway Station/bagdogra Airport, You Will Be Met By Our Driver Who Will Assist You to Board Your Vehicle to Darjeeling. Covering a 125 Km Journey, You Will Arrive At Gangtok and Check-in to Your Hotel. Enjoy Rest of the Day At Leisure and Stay Overnight.
• Day 2 : Excursion to Changu Lake in Gangtok

  Start Your Morning with a Healthy Breakfast At Your Hotel and Move for a Full Day Excursion to Changu Lake Which is 35 Kms from Gangtok, At An Altitude of 12,400 Feet. the Lake Derives Its Waters from Melting Snows of the Surrounding Mountains. Legend Has It that Lamas Could Forecast the Future By Studying the Color of this Lake鈥檚 Waters. Also, Visit the Baba Mandir - a Memorial & Temple Honoring Indian Army Soldier and Folk Hero Baba Harbhajan Singh. Come Back to the Hotel and have a Relaxing Overnight Stay.

  Have Breakfast At the Hotel in Gangtok and Drive to Lachung for About 6 Hours (117 Kms). Enroute, Visit Villages and Waterfalls. Reach the Capital City Gangtok, Check-in to the Hotel and Stay Overnight.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Yumthang Valley

  Enjoy Breakfast At the Hotel and Start for a Day Excursion to Yumthang Valley, the Valley of Flowers. Here, a Variety of Flora and Fauna, Rhododendrons and Primulas are Found in Abundance. Yumthang is the Summer Grazing Ground of the Yaks. On the Way Back Visit the Sulphur Hot Spring, Considered to have Medicinal Properties. Back to the Hotel for An Overnight Stay.

• Day 5 : Transfer to Gangtok

• Day 6 : Sightseeing in Gangtok and Transfer to Pelling

  Have Breakfast At the Hotel and Proceed for Sightseeing in Gangtok Visiting Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry and Bakthang Falls. in the Afternoon, Drive from Gangtok to Pelling for 127 Kms. the Mountain Village Pelling Which Lies in the Western Districts of Sikkim is Situated At An Altitude of 2000 Mts. • Day 7 : Pelling Sightseeing Tour

  Early Morning, Start from the Hotel for a Visit to Tiger Hill to See a Beautiful Sunrise and Himalayan Ranges Kanchendzonga and Mount Everest among Others. On the Way Back, Stop By for a Visit to the Ghoom Monastery Which is the Oldest Monastery in the Area Built in 1875. Its Main Attraction is the 15 Ft Tall Image of Mythey Buddha. Return to the Hotel, have Breakfast and Proceed for a City Tour Covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed On Thursday) Which Was Started By Tenzing Norgay After He Climbed Mt. Everest, the Zoological Park (closed On Thursday), the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed On Sunday), Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from Outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Then, Get Back to the Hotel for An Overnight Stay.
