Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive & Transfer to Hotel - Evening Sightseeing

  Upon arrival at Leh Airport, get transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Relax till lunch to get acclimatized with the climate change (health advisory). After taking lunch (on direct payment basis), you will be taken for a short sightseeing tour to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Evening will be spent at leisure following dinner (on direct payment basis) and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing to Sham Valley and Alchi

  Have breakfast and proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Leh. The tour will include visits to popular attractions of Leh including Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Basgo Palace, Leh Hall of Fame (memorabilia from the Kargil War). Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Sightseeing around Leh

  After taking breakfast, leave for sightseeing around Leh. During the tour, you will visit many attractions around Leh such as the famous Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, Druk Pema School (where the popular Hindi film '3 Idiots' was filmed). After an eventful day, come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Drive to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La Pass) - En-route sightseeing in Hunder Sand dunes

  Enjoy sumptuous breakfast and proceed for trip to picturesque Nubra Valley. On the way to Nubra Valley, drive through Khardung La Pass (world's highest motorable road). Reach at Hunder in the afternoon. After lunch (on your own) you will be free to explore the nearby villages. Return to Nubra for overnight stay in the pre-arranged swiss camp.

• Day 5 : Drive back to Leh (en-route sightseeing)

  After having breakfast, return Leh while paying en-route visits to Diskit Monastery Samsthaling Monastery, Panamik (a scenic village on the way to the Siachen Glacier Base Camp) and Yarab Tso Lake. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.

• Day 6 : Trip to Pangong Lake

  Rise early in the morning to proceed for a day trip to Pangong Lake. Drive through the Chang La Pass (the third highest motorable road in the world) to reach Pangong Lake. The lake is known for changing its colour throughout the day, from deep blue to aquamarine depending upon the sunlight, which is actually fascinating thing to look at. In the evening drive back to Leh for overnight stay.

  After having a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to the Leh Airport to catch flight back home or to onward destination.
