Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Darjeeling

  On arrival at Darjeeling, luxurious green tea estates, picturesque views of the hills, and green surroundings will welcome you and leave you mesmerized. Check into a pre-booked hotel to relax. The rest of the day is at leisure. So you can pamper yourself in the activities of your interest. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  On the 2nd day of the tour, leave early in the morning for Tiger Hill. This hill is known for its sunrise views in the snow-capped mountaintops of Kanchenjunga and entices tourists from all over the globe. After that, you will visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest Tibetan Monastery of Darjeeling. This shrine belongs to the Yellow Hat sect, Gelupka, who worships the 'Coming Buddha' or 'Maitreya Buddha'. The monastery features a 15 ft statue of Lord Buddha as one of its main attractions. Later, move towards Batasia Loop, a lush green toy train pathway loop with the most captivating sights.
  Post these visits, relax for a while, and have your breakfast. The remaining half of the day is ready to cover other attractions of Darjeeling. First, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, housing a variety of animals, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, one of the world's best mountaineering institutes. Shop for souvenirs at Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, a must-visit for shopping.
  End the tour with a visit to Peace Pagoda; a Buddhist Stupa developed for mutual harmony, Tea Garden, and Ropeway. Then, return to the hotel for a comfy overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Kalimpong (52 km/2.5 hours)

  Day 3 of your 7 days Darjeeling Kalimpong Gangtok Pelling itinerary is reserved for a scenic ride from Darjeeling to Kalimpong. After breakfast, start the drive to Kalimpong, a scenic town located 4,101 ft above sea level. On reaching, check in to the pre-booked hotel. Relax for a while and freshen up. Later, proceed for Deolo Hill, the highest point in this hill town, offering panoramic views. Also visit Relli Valley nearby, a park of exotic flowers.

  Our tour guide will take you to the holy Durpin Monastery, one of Kalimpong's largest monasteries and among the well-known ones in West Bengal. After this, return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Kalimpong.

• Day 4 : Kalimpong - Pelling (90 km/3.5 hours)/span

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel to drive from Kalimpong to Pelling. A hill station in the western part of Sikkim, Pelling is positioned at 6800 ft enclosed with wild dense forest, perfect for unwinding in the lap of nature. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and embark on a sightseeing tour of the city.
  Visit Kanchenjunga Falls, one of the largest waterfalls; it is undisturbed by urbanization and thus, offers a peaceful ambiance. Move ahead towards Rimbi Waterfalls near Pelling that leads to the beautiful Rimbi River, famous for recreational activities like fishing.
  Head towards Khecheopalri Lake, revered by Buddhists and Hindus. Next, head to Rimbi rock garden, a perfect blend of green backdrops, flowers, and a variety of birds. Call it a day and return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Pelling.

• Day 5 : Pelling - Gangtok (129 km/4.5 hours)

  Post breakfast, check out and make your way towards Gangtok. The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok has numerous Buddhist monasteries, which are said to be quite ancient. On reaching, check in to the hotel for rest. After freshening up, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of the city, covering the famous Rumtek Monastery, a significant monastery called the Dharmachakra Center.
  After Rumtek, visit Do DrulChortenStupa, one of the prime stupas in Sikkim. It boasts of two gigantic statues of Guru Padmasambhava and is a getaway for those who seek solace. Next, make your way to the Research Institute of Tibetology, established in 1958 to promote research into the Mahayana sect of Buddhism and Tibetan language and culture. Visit the Botanical Garden to see varieties of botanical species. Finally, catch the sight of Mount Siniolchu and Mount Kanchenjunga from Tashi View Point.
  End the Gangtok tour with shopping at the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, built to preserve the talent and skills of local artisans. Then, return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 6 : Excursions from GangtokTsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

  After breakfast, get ready for an excursion from Gangtok. Drive to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir(Harbhajansingh) and lake (aka Changu Lake), which offers beautiful sights. Perched between the mountains at the height of 12,400 ft above sea level, it is a glacial lake that derives its waters from the melting snow of the mountains around it. It is also home to numerous migratory birds and has shops selling jewelry and Yak cheese. Yak rides can be enjoyed here against a scenic backdrop.
  , positioned on the banks of Tsomgo Lake and encircled by steep, snow-covered mountains. After a fun-filled day, return to the hotel in Gangtok.
