For an experience of snowy Himalayas in winter an unforgettable scenery of snowfall and camp sites, nothing is better than the Chopta Chandrashila winter trek. This trek is full of colourful legends from different hindu mythologyies and folk legends. Trip to all these elements of experience starts from Delhi towards Rishikesh and then to Okhimath. The first attraction of tour is Deoriya Taal. Being on high altitude the surrounding area of the lake is not like the area found near the lake of plains,most of the time during winter it is surrounded by the snow.

Leaving behind the lake tourist move towards the mesmerizing Chopta valley. Green lush valley is now covered by white sheet of snow. To make this track enthusiastic by enhancing the rhythmic flow of sound in mountains with the rise and fall of footsteps.

The next on the list is Tungnath temple the highest devoted temple to Lord Shiva deity of destruction, devotees pay their prayers here. In winters , the small and elegant lake is surrounded by the snow.On this trek water points, bridges, pines, oak, foliage and grass hut accompany as constantly.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Alpine Adventure Camp, Chopta

  Delhi - Alpine Adventure Camp, Chopta.
• Day 2 : Alpine Camp (Duggalbitta) - Devriyatal Trek

  In the morning you can see snow clapped Himalayan ranges. After breakfast start your trek to Deoriatal through dense forest of Rhodendron and lots of wild flowers and ferns. The trek will take 3- 4 hrs to reach Deoriatal. Overnight stay at Back to Alpine Base camp Duggalbitt.
• Day 3 : Alpine Camp (Duggalbitta) - Tungnath, Chandrashila Trek

  After an early breakfast trek to Tungnath ,Chandrashila. Tungnath is situated at the height of 3680 mts. Upon arrival at Tungnath Temple and visit the temple. After relax one furth er 1 kms trek to Chandrasila peak. Later trek back to Alpine Camp( Duggalbitta) for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Cycling Tour

  Chopta – Kund (30 km One Side) Or
  
  Chopta to Gopeshwer 50 Km ( One Side)
• Day 5 : Departure

  Relax at Base camp side or you can enjoy adventure sports - Rock climbing,rappling, Balli ball Carom Board, Chess, ludo etc.
