Come discover the jungle life in Chitwan National Park. There we will visit a Tharu Village and go on a jungle safari to discover animals like deers, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the royal tiger.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : DRIVE TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we will drive out of Kathmandu valley. A private car with an experienced driver makes the journey pleasant. You will be welcome in the hotel and lunch at hotel and rest. In the evening we make tour to the Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : CHITWAN JUNGLE SAFARI

After breakfast, we will go for canoeing in the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. After this we will go for the jungle walk and on the way back we can enjoy the elephant bathing view. After lunch we will go for jungle safari on a elephant backs or (on jeep) which is an excellent opportunity to see different deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the royal tiger. We will also see many other smaller mammals that have made chitwan their home. Dinner at hotel and go to see the Tharu cultural program.

Day 3 : LAST MORNING IN CHITWAN

After breakfast, we will visit to the Government Elephant Breeding Centre. Located in Sauraha the Elephant breeding center was set up to protect the endangered elephants in the region. We will see how elephants meals are prepared and how they eat in the elephant breeding center. After visiting, we will depart to the next destination.
