Chennai

Chennai, the city situated at the Coromondal coast of Bay of Bengal is often recognized as the 'Detroit of India' and the 'Gateway of South'. The fourth largest and one of the prosperous cities of the country, Chennai is an attraction in itself. It is the capital of the state Tamil Nadu, and fifth most populous city of India. It would not be hyperbolic to designate it as the liveliest city in the entire South India. The city has its own unique charm, which sets it aside from the rest of the big cities of the country. A great confluence of rich tradition, varied heritage, modern amenities and technology, Chennai is the vibrant place in the vicinity of nature.

Pondicherry

Pondicherry is the capital city of The Union Territory of Pondicherry and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South India. A French colony until 1954, this coastal town retains a number of colonial buildings, churches, statues, and systematic town planning, as well as urban architecture of the local Tamil style. As such the town has been dubbed "The Europe of India". The town struggles to preserve what little remains of the ambiance once created by this unique mix of cultural heritage.[1] It nevertheless draws tourists from around the world and from across India. Pondicherry is also a popular weekend destination, which can be reached easily from the nearby cities such as Chennai and Bangalore.3.09% Government Service Tax.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai

  Arrive at Chennai airport or station and check-in to the hotel. Later go for the city tour of Chennai which will include Kalpeshwara Temple, Crocodile Bank, Ramakrishna Temple, and Queens Lands. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing

  Day Excursion to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram and Back to the hotel and Stay Overnight.
• Day 3 : Pondicherry

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and processed for the Pondicherry which is around 137 kms (4hrs) .Later check in to the hotel. Late afternoon go for local sightseeing like Arikemedu, The Statue of Dupleix etc. Evening visit Pondicherry beach and relax there. Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 4 : Pondicherry

  After breakfast go for city tour where you can see Pondicherry Museum, Botanical Garden and Aquarium, French war monument, Park Monument etc. Evening will be free for shopping. Overnight stay hotel.

• Day 5 : Departure

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and processed for Chennai which is around 137kms (4hrs) drive. Later processed for you next destination with lots of beautiful memories of south India tour.
