Package Overview

Char Dham are the names of four pilgrimage sites in India that are widely revered by Hindus. The pilgrimages sites in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath were known as Chota Char Dham to differentiate them from the bigger circuit of Char Dham sites,but after the mid - 20th century they have been also referred to as the Char Dham. The amazing valleys of the Great Himalayas proudly reflect thousands years old legends and history by beholding these sacred shrines at different districts namely Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag on the splendid Garhwal hills.

Shri Kedarnath - Temple in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state is elevated at an altitude of 3584 m above the sea level flanking around the river Mandakini. It is considered as the most pious abode of Lord Shiva and is believed that one of the 12 forms of Lord Shiva in the shape of 鈥淛yotirlingas鈥� was dropped at the hills of Mandar where the main temple is located.





Shri Badrinath - A perfect example of devotion for humanity and mankind, the Badrinath Temple is elevated at an altitude of 3415 meters in the Garhwal Hills on the bank of Alaknanada River. One of the famous shrines of the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand, it is the sacred place devoted to Lord Vishnu. Legend says Lord Vishnu meditated at this place for thousand incessant years under the Badri tree and so the name is given as Badrinath.





Gangotri - The holy river Ganga is known to be originated from Gangotri itself, through the prayer made by king Bhagirath. Gangotri lies at an altitude of 3,200 mts about the sea level in Uttarkashi district where thousands of devotees pay their visit to wash away their sins in the urge of salvation. The Ganges is believed to be the sacred source of purity and sanctity and so before visiting the temple, devotees take a holy dip in this mighty river.





Yamunotri - Located at Uttarkashi at an elevation of 3164 meters from the sea level, Yamunotri Dham temple sanctifies thousands of moods and spirits bringing the origin of River Yamuna. It is the only place where the devotees can find both the amalgamation of hot and cold environment. The Himalayan environment is purified and freezes with the cold tides of the glaciers of River Yamuna and the sides are remained warmed up with thermal springs which are known as 鈥楰unds鈥� of Goddess Shakti.Any meals other than those mentioned above

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive At Haridwar

  On arrival at Haridwar check in to the hotel. In evening proceed to Har ki Pauri to enjoy Ganga Aarti on the banks of Gagna. Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Haridwar - Barkot

  After breakfast proceed to Barkot located on the foot of Yamunotri. Upon arrival Barkot, check in to the hotel or camp. Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Barkot - Yamunotri

  After breakfast proceed Janki Chatti. Her First Pahad Vatra of Yamunotri. yamunotri, the western most shrine of the Char Dhams, is dominated by Banderpunch. Stay overnight at Barkot.

• Day 4 : Barkot - Uttarkashi

  After breakfast proceed to Uttarkashi. Check in to the hotel, Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and famous for its historical monuments. Stay overnight at Uttarkashi.
• Day 5 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri

  After breakfast proceed to Gangotri. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy deep in the sacred river Ganga which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin visit the Gangotri temple. Stay overnight at Uttarkashi.

• Day 6 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi

  After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Guptkashi. Upon arrivalat Guptkashi check in to the hotel. Stay overnight at Guptkashi.
• Day 7 : Guptkashi - Kedarnath

  After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Gaurikund trek to Kedarnath. Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. Trudging with you are pilgrims chanting "Jai Bholenath". Stay overnight at the hotel.
• Day 8 : Kedarnath - Rudraprayag

  After taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek' to Kedarnath Shiva. After darshan and puja you come out of the temple and return to hotel for breakfast. Check out of the hotel and proceed to Rudraprayag stay overnight at Rudraprayag.
• Day 9 : Rudraprayag - Joshimath - Badrinath

  After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Badrinath. Upon arrival check in to the hotel after refreshment you are go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. Stay overnight at Badrinath.

  • Hotspots Badrinath Temple
• Day 10 : Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag

  Early morning Darshan and proceed to Rudraprayag. Stay overnight at Rudraprayag
• Day 11 : Rudraprayag - Rishikesh

  After breakfast proceed to Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. Rest of day at leisure and stay overnight at Rishikesh.
• Day 12 : Departure

  After breakfast check out of the hotel and transferred to airport or station.
