Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Haridwar to Barkot (Drive: 220 km, 7-8 hours)

  After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Barkot, a picturesque town nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. En route, you'll pass through serene landscapes, charming villages, and lush forests. Upon arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel and unwind. Spend the evening exploring the local surroundings or simply relax amidst the tranquil ambiance.

• Day 2 : Barkot to Yamunotri to Barkot (Drive: 42 km; Trek: 6 km each way)

  Today, get ready for an early morning drive to Janki Chatti, followed by a trek to Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River and one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. After offering prayers at the temple, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

In the evening, you can attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri, a ritualistic worship of the Ganges.
