Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Transfer From Airport To Hotel At Cochin

  Upon arrival our executive will meet you at the airport followed by transfer to hotel. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Cochin) [Transport: Vehicle only for arrival transfer].
• Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar (135 Km - 4 H)

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and proceed for sightseeing of Cochin visiting - The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana, The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, The St. Francis Church, the oldest European Church in India, The Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. Later we drive to Munnar - Nature lover's paradise. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Munnar) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Note: Dutch palace closed on Friday and Jewish synagogue is closed on Friday and Saturday.

• Day 3 : Munnar Sightseeing

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar visiting - Rajamally (home of an endangered species of goat called Nilgiri Thar), Anamudi (one of the tallest peaks in south India), Mattupetty Dam, The echo point - A Place with natural echo Phenomenon and Kundale where have boating facility in shikara type of boats. Later return to the hotel and evening at leisure. (Overnight at Munnar) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal].
• Day 4 : Munnar - Thekkady (110 Km - 4 H)

  Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady). The name Periyar comes after the Dam made here by the English in 1895. A wild life reserve hence is an ideal place to track down wild life such as Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds. The landscape here is with very tropical and you will be surrounded by tea, coffee & other spices. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Thekkady) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal].
• Day 5 : Thekkady - Alleppey (150 Km - 4 H)

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Alleppey - the land of Backwaters. On arrival at Alleppey embark into the private House boat that is waiting to take you on a tour through the backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. You can sunbathe on the deck (or) observe the landscape from the protection of the cabin. The population's whole life takes place here on the water. The people sail, fish, swim and bathe here. They do their washing and their washing up. They are so adapted to the water that you can see people talking for an hour, while they are up to their necks in water. Peddlers take care of the supplies and the public transport goes on the water. Countless water birds wait for their chance to catch a fish. The trip goes through a wonderful area full of palm trees, rice fields and floating water plants that surround the boat like emerald Green Island. • Day 6 : Alleppey - Kumarakom (45 Km - 1 H)

  Disembark the houseboat after breakfast and drive to Kumarakom - a rich green, sleepy little village on the Vembanad Lake. This village provides boating, fishing and sightseeing experiences that are truly exhilarating. On arrival check into hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. • Day 7 : Kumarakom - Kovalam (210 Km - 4.5 H)

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to "Kovalam beach" which is rich with palm trees. The journey through the tropical landscape of Kerala gives a good idea of people living in here. Kovalam beach is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in India. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Kovalam) [Transport: Vehicle till Kovalam drop only]
• Day 8 : Day Excursion To Kanyakumari

  After breakfast proceed to visit Kanyakumari - which is at the tail point of India, where the three seas meet together. The place is most famous for the spectacular sunset and moonrise. Sightseeing follows of visiting - The Vivekananda rock in the island which is reachable by Govt ferry. There is also a recently built memorial to Tiruvalluvar, the author of the philosophical work Tirukkural - a treatise on the Indian way of life. The temple of Kumari Amman (the virgin lady) and Gandhi Memorial are some of the finest attractions. Return back to hotel at Kovalam and rest of the day at leisure. • Day 9 : Departure Transfer

  Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Trivandrum airport/railway station for onward travel. [Transport: Vehicle only for departure transfer].
