Day 2 : Phnom Penh 鈥 Sightseeing in Phnom Pehn B/L
Explore PHNOM PEHN, a chaotic, energetic, and always fascinating city. Graceful tree-lined boulevards and riverfront promenades are reminders of the bygone eras, today they teem with life and activity, as motorcycles weave in and out of traffic, vendor hawk their wares , and pedestrians go about their business. Star your tour at WAT PHNOM, the birthplace of the capital, according to the legend the city began here when a woman Pehn found four Buddha statues and build the temple to house them. Afterwards. See the splendor of Cambodian鈥檚 royal heritage by visiting the ROYAL PALAST, still the official residence of the king Norodom Sihamuni, the adjacent SILVER PAGODA, also known as the pagoda of the Emerald Buddha, and the elegant NATIONAL MUSEUM, which contains a comprehensive collection of Khmer art.
In the afternoon, learn about a chapter from Cambodia鈥檚 more recent, tragic, past at the TOUL SLENG MUSEUM ( Museum of Genocide ) . Formerly the Toul Svay Prey High School, in 1975, this became the interrogation and torture facility for the Khmer Rouge Regime, at that time known as Security Prison 21, or simply S-21. Kept largely unchanged, this prison now showcases photographs and exhibits about the thousands of victims that passed through these doors, only seven of whom came out alive. Finally, explore the modern-day city, visiting one of the Phnom Pehn鈥檚 two great markets, the CENTRAL MARKET, located in a distinctive domed Art deco building, or the sprawling RUSSIAN MARKET, a labyrinth of stalls selling everything from CDs and DVDs to silks, crafts, jewelry and more. Day 3 : Phnom Pehn 鈥 Kampong Cham B/L
Breakfast at the hotel and depart from Phnom Penh to Kompong Cham by private A/C transport. Day 5 : Kampong Thom - Siem Reap 鈥 Tonle Sap Lake
Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Kampong Thom to Siem Reap by private A/C transport. On the way visit ancient Naga Bridge (Kampong Kdei bridge), one of the finest bridges built by Khmer kings. Dating back to 10th century, Kampong Kdei (鈥淭he Ancient Bridge鈥) is 64,60 metres long and 16 wide. At both sides, two Naga heads, whose body create 84 meters long handrail.
Arrival in Siem Reap and transfer for check-in at the hotel and excursion to TONLE SAP Lake with boat trip , the floating village located on the Tonle Sap lake , an extraordinary lake swells up to seven times its original size during the monsoon season . Day 7 : Siem Reap 鈥 Ta Prohm Temple
After breakfast at hohm Temple B/L/Dtel, transfer to visit : PREAH KAN : a temple built by king Jayavaraman VII with towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors in a jungle setting . Preah Kan covers a very large area but the temple itself is enclosed within a rectangular wall of around 700by 800 meters.
NEAK PEAN : built by king Jayavaraman VII ( ruled 1181 to 1220 ) , it is Buddhist temple consisting of a square pool with four smaller square pools arranged on each axis . In the Centre of the large central pool is a circular island encircled by tow Naga with intertwined tails .

EAST MEBON is a large temple-mountain-like ruin rising three levels and crowned by five towers. Jayavarman IV a usurper to the throne moved the capital from Angkor to Koh Ker in 928AD. Sixteen years later Rajendravarman II returned the capital to Angkor and shortly thereafter constructed East Mebon on an island in the middle of the now dry Eastern Baray. The temple is dedicated to Shiva in honor of the king鈥檚 parents. Inscriptions indicate that it was also built to help reestablish the continuity of kingship at Angkor in light of the interruption that occurred when the seat of power had been moved to Koh Ker. There seems to be some scholarly debate as to whether East Mebon should be categorized as a temple-mountain. Inscriptions record activity at the temple as early as 947AD, but East Mebon was not consecrated until 952 AD.
PRE RUP : built by Rajendravaraman II ( ruled 944 to 968 ) , it consist of a pyramid shape temple with the upper-most of the three tiers carrying five square shrines arranged as a quincunx . The name means turning the body and refers to traditional method of cremation.
TA PROHM one of the most popular attraction of Angkor as much of the jungle has not been cleared and it looks very much as most of Angkor monuments would have appeared when the European explorers first stumbled across them.
PRASAT KRAVAN : the five brick towers were built for Hindu worship in 921 and are notable for the bas-reliefs cut into the bricks on the interior walls . Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 8 : Siem Reap 鈥 Rolous Group
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to visit Rolous Group : these monuments mark the beginning the classical art as some of the earliest great temples built by the Khmer king, they served as the capital of Indravaraman ( who reigned from 877to 889 )
LOLEI : built on an islet by Yasovaraman I( who ruled from 889 to 910 ) the founder of the first city of Angkor. The sandstone carving in the niches of the temples are notable as are the Sanskrit inscriptions on the doorposts.
PREAH KO : erected by Indravaraman I in the late 9th century in dedication to his defied ancestors in 880 . There are inscriptions in Sanskrit in the doorsteps of each temple.
BAKONG : built and dedicated to Siva by Indravaraman I, this is the largest and most interesting of the Rolous Group of the temples and still has an active Buddhist monastery. Continue to visit temple located outside the Angkor area, it is most beautiful temple as
BANTEAY SREY : Seemingly miniature in comparison to the other Angkor temples , Banteay Srey is considered to be the jewel of the classical Khmer art . Built in pink sandstone, the wall are covered in exquisitely preserved carving of the unusual delicacy. Because of its small size fairy-like atmosphere and extraordinary examples of Khmer sculpture, this temple is often a favorite with visitors.
Day 9 : Siem Reap-Koh Ker 鈥 Beng Mealea - Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, travel northeast from Siem Reap to Koh Ker, a remote group of early Angkorian ruins from the 10th century capital of Jayavaraman IV. Several monuments and temples still remain, with some of the most interesting being the pyramidal PRASAT THOM, PRASAT PRAM , PRASAT LINGA , PRASAT NEANG KMOE and PRASAT CHRES.
Excursion back to visit BANG MEALEA temple, a mysterious temple in the middle of the Cambodian jungle. Surrounded by a vast moat, this 12th century temple follows a complex floor plan similar to Angkor Wat but with a haunting jungle atmosphere similar of Ta Prohm. Visitors that make their way through the ruined stone blocks and wandering tree routes are rewarded by the sight of beautiful classical bas-reliefs. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 10 : Siem Reap - Phnom Kulen - Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel departure for excursion at Phnom Kulen or "Lychee Mountain" Here begins the story of Angkor with the 802 sacrament of Jayavaramen II who institutionalized the cult of the "God-King" View the river "of the 1000 lingas" and beautiful cultures on the river bed, pagoda, the large sleeping Buddha carved in the rock, nice view of countryside, visit the waterfalls and you can see the ruins of a temple also.

Day 11 : Siem Reap 鈥 Preah Vihear temple 鈥 Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to visit the Preah Vihear temple, it located slightly east of the midsection of the Dangrek mountains about 625 meters above the sea level in northern part of Preah Vihear province, kingdom of Cambodia close to Thailand border. Situated on the edge of a plateau that dominates the plain of Cambodia, the Temple of Preah Vihear is dedicated to Shiva. The Temple is composed of a series of sanctuaries linked by a system of pavements and staircases over an 800 meters long axis and dates back to the first half of the 11th century AD. Nevertheless, its complex history can be traced to the 9th century, when the hermitage was founded. This site is particularly well preserved, mainly due to its remote location. The site is exceptional for the quality of its architecture, which is adapted to the natural environment and the religious function of the temple, as well as for the exceptional quality of its carved stone ornamentation.
The Temple of Preah Vihear, a unique architectural complex of a series of sanctuaries linked by a system of pavements and staircases on an 800 meters long axis is an outstanding masterpiece of Khmer architecture, in terms of plan, decoration and relationship to the spectacular landscape environment. Preah Vihear is an outstanding masterpiece of Khmer architecture. It is very 鈥榩ure鈥 both in plan and in the detail of its decoration. Preah Vihear temple was listed and declared a world heritage site by UNESCO on July 8,2008. Transfer back to Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12 : Siem Reap 鈥 Departure to next destination
Breakfast at the hotel transfer to airport departure from Siem Reap to Hanoi
- arrival at Noi Bai international airport, our tour guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to the center of Hanoi for the Hanoi city tour. We will visit the most popular attractions in Hanoi, including Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh鈥檚 house, his house on stilt, One-pillar Pagoda nearby.
Then we鈥檒l take a short drive to visit the Temple of Literature 鈥 the first university of Vietnam.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. We then continue to visit Ngoc Son Temple & Hoan Kiem Lake 鈥 the most beautiful lake in Hanoi. Take a 1-hour cyclo tour in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and enjoy Vietnamese Traditional Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 13 : Hanoi City Tour 鈥 Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Hanoi
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at 08:00 at your hotel in Hanoi, then depart for Ninh Binh. After 2 hours of driving, we arrive in Ninh Binh Province.
Our first visit is the former capital of Vietnam 鈥 Hoa Lu. We will visit two temples that are dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the two heroes who lived in 10th century and chose Hoa Lu to build the citadel of the capital city of Dai Viet (Vietnam). Proceed to Tam Coc for lunch. Tam Coc is known as "Halong Bay on land" as it boasts breathtaking sceneries of limestone caves on land. (鈥淭am Coc鈥 means three caves). After lunch, we get on small rowing boats to take a boat trip along the scenic river to all these three caves. The boat ride takes about two hours. Then we鈥檒l drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Ha Noi
Day 14 : Ha Noi - Sa Pa - Lao Chai/ Ta Van
6h30 - 7h30: You will start at 12 Ly Thai To, where you catch the bus to Sapa. 12h30-13h00: You will arrive in Sapa town. The tour guide would pick you up there. Coming to the hotel, rest for a while to take a shower. You will have time to prepare your baggage for the trek. Have lunch in your hotel. You should bring some suitable clothing and a pair of comfortable shoes to trek.
14h00: Our experienced guide will guide you on an easy 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H鈥檓ong village of Lao Chai. You will have a chance to experience the gorgeous landscapes along the trek! The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of terraced fields in Asia. Continue along the bottom of the Valley to go the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life when you stay in a local family鈥檚 cottage.

Day 15 : Ta Van - Dzang Ta Chai 鈥 Ha Noi
6h30: After having breakfast at the homestay, you will begin your trek to Dzang Ta Chai of the Red Dzao tribe. Here you will experience the difference between the ways of life of different tribes. Continue your trek through the amazing scenery and to the beautiful waterfall. Take beautiful photos to save memories. Then you can have lunch and take a rest.
14h00: We will pick you up from the main road by bus back to Sapa town. Along the way you might stop to take photos of the fabulous valley. After getting back to Sa Pa town, you will have enough time to check out from your hotel. 16h00: Saying goodbye to Sapa and come back to Hanoi.
21h30: Arriving back to Hanoi Old Quarter. Have dinner and relax at the hotel.
Day 16 : Hanoi 鈥 Halong Bay
Have breakfast at your hotel, then depart for Halong Bay. Drive about 03 hours through the rice paddy fields in the Red River Delta to Ha Long city. Upon arrival, embark on a junk boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with delicious seafood lunch served on board.
In the afternoon, cruise on the boat in the crystalline emerald green water of Ha Long bay, among thousands of spectacular limestone islands and islets and discover Surprising Cave, the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. The boat stops at an ideal location for kayaking as we paddle through a maze of islets amid dramatic natural scenery. Explore the many hidden lagoons and stalagmite caves that are not so accessible otherwise. Overnight on junk boat.
Day 17 : Ha Long Bay - Hanoi
In the morning, we take one more cruising trip around the stunning Ha Long Bay and enjoy the sunrise before returning to the junk. Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Ha Long harbor. Disembark at around 12:00 and drive back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 5 pm. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 18 : Hanoi 鈥 Handicraft village - Departure
Breakfast at hotel and start to explore Dong Ngac village in the morning. 07:30 - 08:00: Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and take you to Dong Ngac Cultural Village, located about 15km from Hanoi center. This is an ancient village and a Cultural Heritage Site in honor of its educated and heroic people recognized by the kings of Vietnam.
8:30: Arrive in the village where you will embark on an interesting market tour. At the local market you will have the chance to experience the bustling market and local life, your tour guide will show you and help you to purchase the some offering for families we visit.
Take a short walk from Dong Ngac Market to the hosting family鈥檚 house for a welcome drink and get ready for the biking around the Village.
09:30: Start biking and venture deeper into the village: Visit Dong Ngac Communal House, the grounds and architecture of which are built in the shape of a dragon. The oldest house in the village belongs to the Do family and is more than 300 years old. Passing by the oldest school in the Village built in 1921.
10:30: Back to the hosting family, it is time for your private cooking demonstration. After watching your host, you can practice cooking by yourself and then the best part of all, try your dishes! After all your efforts you can reward yourself and rest back into some reclining chairs in the fragrant retreat of your host鈥檚 village garden.
All too soon it is mid-afternoon and time to say good-bye to your new friends. Catch our van for a short drive back to Hanoi.
13:00: Arrive back to Hanoi. Free time until transfer to the airport for departure flight. End of tour services.
