Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Srinagar.

  You are greeted on arrival at Srinagar Airport / Railway Station by GATEWAY Holidays representative and thereafter transfer to Houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. In the evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Houseboat - Srinagar.

• Day 2 : Srinagar.

  After a hearty breakfast, leave for Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 KMs respectively. En-route visit carpet weaving factory and old Srinagar city. O/N: Srinagar Deluxe Houseboats.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Gulmarg ( 96 KMs ).

  Wake up rejuvenated and embark on a sightseeing tour Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 KMs will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view en- route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilangmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. • Day 4 : Srinagar - Pahalgam ( 186 KMs ).

  Enjoy a beautiful morning in the lap of nature and get ready to explore Pahalgam 2440 meters above sea level (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening return back to Houseboat. O/N: Srinagar Deluxe Houseboats.

• Day 5 : Srinagar - Sonmarg ( 168 KMs ).

  Wake up rejuvenated and embark on a sightseeing excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we come across many beautiful spots, continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 meters above sea level (Meadow of Gold). We also can ride horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Houseboat. O/N: Srinagar Deluxe Houseboats.
• Day 6 : Srinagar - Yousmarg ( 97 KMs ).

  After a hearty breakfast, full day trip to Yousmarg. Enjoy the drive up to Yousmarg which is the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. O/N: Srinagar Deluxe Houseboats.
