Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Phuentsholing- Thimpu ( after immigration)

  When you first arrive at Phuntsholing , you will meet by one of our delightful tour guide. Proceed to Thimphu after completion of immigration Process. stopping enroute at Kharbandi Gompa. There is a splendid view of Phuentsholing and the
  Indian plains from the splendid monastery gardens of tropical plants and flowers.From this point the road climbs steeply up and down mountainous ranges through light mountain jungle displaying lianas and orchids and small townships
  such as Chukha and Chimakothi. Lunch is served en route. After passing through Chapcha, the road reaches its highest point of about 2,800m, then descends steeply and runs along the bank of the Wang Chu (river) to Chuzom (meaning confluence), where ir meets Paro Chu. From here it is only 2 hours’ drive up the valley to Thimphu. Shortly before reaching our destination. e will stop to visit Semtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in the kingdom, build by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1627. On arrival in Thimphu, check into thehotel. During the evening you can wander through the shops, bars, and cafes of Thimphu.Overnight Thimpu.

• Day 2 : Thimpu sightseeing

  After breakfast complete Visit National Memorial Chorten which was built in memory of Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to World peace. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, this temple is located above central Thimphu, Afterwards visit to Buddha Point ( Kuensel Phodrang ) . It holds one of the largest Buddha’s statue in the country of 169 feet
  (51.5m) , made of bronze and glided in gold . Drive to Motithang in Thimphu to visit Takin Preserve . The Takin is the national animal of Bhutan. After lunch transfer to paro.

• Day 3 : Paro Sightseeing fullday Tigernest and transfer to phuntsholing

  After breakfast excursion to Taktshang Monastery ( approx. 5 Hours round trip walk) : It is one of the most famous of Bhutan’s monasteries,This site has been recognized as a most scared place and visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. The hike to the monastery makes a splendid half day excursion in Bhutan. After that transfer to phuntsholing.
