Package Overview

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim鈥檚 Himalayan mountain ranges.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL

  Arrival at Bagdogra airport. After landing you will be escorted to Gangtok by road. Where you escalate the nature's greenery by snaky road. After arrival at Gangtok will check in at hotel and rest form some time.In evening will visit the nearby market like the Lal Bazaar, Kanchenjunga shopping complex and MG road houses diverse items ranging from Nepalese dresses to Tibetan carpets, from alpine cheese to hand-woven jackets and from electronics to baskets made from bamboo and cane. Back to the hotel for rest.
• Day 2 : RUMTEK MONASTERY

  On second day of tour after a breakfast will sightseeing or explore the view of Gangtok. Then visit to a Rumtek Monastery also known as a Dharamachakra Centre. Rumtek is located 24 kilometres from Gangtok at an altitude of about 1,500 metres (4,900 ft). Then Visit to the Dro-dul Chorten, it is a stupa in sikkim. it is built by Trulshik Rinpoche.this stupa is near by Research Institute of Tibetology. In last proceed to the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom.From where you can buy Thanka paintings, wooden masks, handlooms, carpets, artifacts and painted items, bamboo and cane work and stuffed dolls.

• Day 3 : GANGTOK TO GLENBURN

  After having a breakfast will check out from the hotel and proceed to the Glenburn. Glenburn is a heavenly little plantation retreat that lies on a hillock above the banks of the River Rungeet, high in the Himalayas, overlooked by the mighty Kanchenjunga mountain range.Started by a Scottish tea company in 1859. then back to the hotel and rest for overnight.

• Day 4 : SIDDHESHWAR DHAM AND TEMPLE SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast, this day will explore the Glenburn. Will visit Tea estate, Siddheshwar dham, Mahakal Temple, Tinchuley Village or etc. Then back to then hotel for overnight.
• Day 5 : KANCHENJUNGA VIEW

  After breakfast will proceed to Darjeeling . It is located in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 6,700 ft. It is prominent for its tea industry and its Kanchenjunga view. According to the UNISCO it is world heritage site. After this will visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and Ghoom Monastery. Then back to the hotel.
• Day 6 : DEPARTURE

  It is the last day of tour. After breakfast will checkout from the hotel and departure to the airport with many great recollection.
