Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin Arrival - Thattekad

  On your arrival at Cochin airport/railway station our representative will receive you and drive you to Thattekad. On the way visit Kodanad Elephant Kraal, training centre and a mini zoo. After that proceed to Thattekad and check-in to your hotel/resort. Evening you can spend time in Bhoothathankettu Dam area, a picturesque place situates in a vast virgin forest. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
  
  Thatekkad Bird Sanctuary: is situated in the tropical grassland patches. Thattekad Sanctuary is located in the Kothamangalam 25 kms from Kochi Airport on the bank of the Periyar River. The Sanctuary has a population of about 500 species spread over 25 sq. Km. Rare birds like the Crimson-Throated Barbet, Bee-eater, Sunbird, Shrike, Black winged Kite, and the Night Heron are also commonly sighted here. Bamboo rafting is offered for guests to explore the lake and surrounding areas.
• Day 2 : Thattekad Local Visit

  Morning after breakfast a Day free for visit Thattekad Bird Sanctuary. You can wander through the evergreen forests of Thattekad and catch glimpses of some rare species of birds during your stay there. Evening Free. Overnight Stay.

• Day 3 : Thattekad - Munnar (90 Kilometer / 2 陆 - 3 Hours Hours).

  Morning After Breakfast. Proceed to Munnar. Munnar area paradise situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and perched 1600 m above sea level. On the way to Hotel will visit Cheeyappara water falls (If time permits) and after check in formalities If time permits we will proceed to visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Madupetty Dam and Tea Museum. In the evening back to the hotel and overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Munnar Local Sightseeing

  After Breakfast today being the day to explore more in Munnar, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Eravikulam National Park etc. (Closed during FEB & MAR every year due to breeding period) Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 5 : Munnar - Vagamon

  Vagamon is a striking tourist spot surrounded by the greenery of tea gardens and beautiful meadows.The drive to the hill town is scenic with winding roads, fresh mountain air, the sound of gurgling streams and chirping birds. One of the beautiful tourist attractions on the way to Vagamon includes, Elaveezha Poonchira, which means valley where leaves don鈥檛 fall and is named so because the place has no trees. This is also one of the best places in Kerala to witness both the sunrise and sunset.
  Morning After Breakfast Proceed to Vagamon. On Arrival Check in at Hotel. Later Proceed to visit Kurisumala Hills, Vagamon Falls, Suicide Point, Meadows and Pine Forest. Evening Back to Hotel & Overnight Stay.

• Day 6 : Vagamon - Varkala.

  Perched almost perilously along the edge of 15m-high red laterite cliffs, the North Cliff part of Varkala has a naturally beautiful setting that has steadily grown into Kerala most popular backpacker hang-out. A small strand of beach nuzzles Varkala鈥檚 cliff edge, where restaurants play innocuous world music and stalls sell T-shirts, baggy trousers and silver jewellery. It is touristy and the sales pitch can be tiring, but Varkala is still a great place to watch the days slowly turn into weeks, and it is not hard to escape the crowds further north or south where the beaches are cleaner and quieter.
  Morning after Breakfast at 07:30 Hours proceed to Varkala. On Arrival Check in at Hotel. Later Proceed to visit to Sivagiri, Janardhana Swamy Temple, Vishnu Temple, Papasnanam Beach, Kappil Lake, Ponnumthuruthu Island ( golden island) Overnight Stay in Varkala.
• Day 7 : Varkala - Ponmudi.

  Ponmudi: Locals in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram will declare that a weekend drive to Ponmudi is among the best ways to spend time in the city. Families and friends a like are known to go on long drives up the winding paths for a view they insist rivals any other in the State. The slopes shrouded in mist fill one with a feeling of wonder and amazement. A large amount of rare flora and fauna can be seen here including mountain flowers, wild orchids and exotic butterflies.
  The temperature is equable throughout the year and the three hour drive from the city is justified once the valley comes into view. One can always stopover at the breath-taking Kallar River on the way, which flows parallel to the road in the opposite direction, with the picturesque Meenmutty Waterfalls only a little distance ahead. A large number of cottages and resorts have come up in the area. Trekking and camping options are also available for those interested in exploring this natural wonder on foot. The tree house view tower is another great place to visit. Ponmudi is indeed a rising hotbed of tourist activity. A hill so close to the city, yet nestled so near the protective arms of the sea.
  Early Morning visit Few Beaches. After Breakfast Check out from the Hotel Around 11:00 Hours & Proceed to Ponmudi. On Arrival Check in at Hotel. Evening at Leisure & Overnight Stay.

  Morning After Breakfast proceed to visit Kallar River side, Golden Valley, Meenmutty Waterfalls, Varayadu Motta where we can see Nilgiri Thars, Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary & Mini Zoo etc. Evening Back to Hotel & Overnight Stay.
