About Deoghar 鈥�
Deoghar is a Hindi word and the literal meaning of 鈥楧eoghar鈥� is abode (鈥榞har鈥�)of the Gods and Goddess ( 鈥楧eb鈥�).Deoghar is also known as 鈥淏aidyanath Dham鈥�, 鈥淏. Deoghar. This district of Santhal Pargana division of Jharkhand state is known for the Baidyanath Jyotirlinga shrine. It is bounded by Bhagalpur district in north, Dumka in south-east and Giridih in west. Deoghar , a gorgeous city in Jharkhand located at an altitude of 2,140 feet, is known for many natural wonders, man-made comforts and amazing urban ameneties . You can find here several waterfalls, rock formations and hillocks along with many large industrial complexes. The climate of the city remains pleasant round the year specially October to February.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Deoghar

  On arrival at the Jasidih railway station you are received by our representative and driven to a deluxe Hotel near Baidyanath Dham. Passed some time at own for freshness and lunch, in the afternoon the tour representative will be guiding you to visit to Satsang Ashram.
  Satsang evolved normally, naturally, spontaneously round the loving personality of SREE SREE THAKUR ANUKULCHANDRA, Fulfiller the Best of the age. 鈥楰ALKI AVTAR鈥� SREE SREE THAKUR ANUKULCHANDRA spent his last 25 years of active life at this ashram which was the center where from his man-making program was directed. You can also find here some unbelievable socio-industrial and cultural work and can gather amazing experience of freedom, peace and progress.
  Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Deoghar

  Early morning drive for Darshan of BABA BAIDYANATH DHAM and SHIVAGANGA.
  BABA BAIDYANATH DHAM also known as Baidyanath Jyotirlinga Temple. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the most sacred abodes of GOD SHIVA. BABA DHAM is a temple complex consisting of the main temple of BABA BAIDYANATH, where the Jyotirlinga is installed and 21 other temples are erracted.
  SHIVAGANGA, earlier known as Varvoghar Kund, was founded by Ravana when he made a blow with his fist on the Earth. At that time a huge water stream came out and formed a pond which is presently known as SHIVAGANGA. It is also believed that at this place Ravana handed over the Shivalingam to Lord BISHNU who was disguised as a Brahmin.
  Devotees can take bath on SHIVAGANGA and participate in Puja of God SHIVA.
  Back to hotel. After meal sightseeing starts covering the famous Noulakha Mandir, Ramkrishna Mission, Balananda Ashram and Prabhu Jagadbandhu Ashram.
  In the afternoon drive for amazing trip to Nandan Pahar by Horse Cart (Tanga).
  Nandan Pahar also referred as Nandan Hill Park. It is a small hill at the edge of the town, hosting the renowned Nandi Temple. Beautifully maintained by the local administration, the hill park is an example of the natural beauty of the town. On its one side, the hill has the divine Shiva Temple and a wonderful lake on the other, attracting the visitors by their elegance.
  On the way back take experience of the local market. You have to stay night at the hotel.
• Day 3 : Tapovan

  After early breakfast, check out from the hotel and start for full day excursion to Tapovan and Trikuta Parvata.
  Tapovan is another sacred site located at a distance of around 10 km from Babadham. The site houses a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is popularly known as Taponath Mahadeva. Tourists can witness various caves on this hill, which served as a site for penance of Sri Sri Balananda Brahmachari and sage Valmiki. One of the prime attraction of the site is the cave which has a Shivalingam enshrined in it.
  Trikuta Parvata, collectively known as Trikutachal , is a combination of three main peaks on the hills, which are situated at the height of around 2,470 feet. A rope way is most famous here that can be used to reach the top of the hill. The view from top of the mountain is stunning and solar panels situated in Tapovan (First solar energy hub in Jharkhand).
  The site served as a location for sage Bam Bam Baba for commencing his penance. Also known as Garden of Lord Shiva, the site has trees of wood apples in abundance.
  The hill is the origin point of river Mayurakshi and also has a famous Shiva temple, which is popular with the name of Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple. Apart from this, the site also houses an alter of the Goddess of Trishuli and a cottage of sage Dayananda.
• Day 4 : Basukinath

  After breakfast starts full day excursion to holy Basukinath.
  Basukinath Temple, another famous pilgrimage spot, is frequently thronged by visitors and devotees throughout the year for its popular Shiva Temple. It is believed that the pilgrimage to Baba Dham is incomplete without paying homage to Basukinath. The temple is situated near the village of Jarmundi and presents an example of local art. This ancient temple houses and many other small temples are located in its vicinity.
  Back to hotel and transfer to the Jasidih Railway station for onward journey with sweet memories of BABA DHAM & SATSANG HOLY TOUR.
