Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Leh

  Upon arrival at the Leh Airport, you will be met by hotel representative and transferred to hotel for check-in. Relax and unwind yourself. In the evening, visit Leh market and Shanti Stupa. Doze off gazing at the stars after a hearty meal at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Leh Excursion

  Post breakfast, drive towards Kargil road and begin your sightseeing tour with Hall of Fame Museum made in the memory of the soldiers who fought in the Indo-Pak wars, constructed by the Indian army, it is worth a visit. Then, proceed to Kali Mata Temple and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Nestled in the mountains, it was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes one to the Magnetic Hill, synonymous with Leh. The hill, at a height of 14,000 feet, defies the law of gravity. Here, even when you switch the engine of your vehicle off, it moves at a speed of about 20 km/per hour. Driving through a picturesque landscape, we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, 4 km before Nimmu village. End the tour with a visit to Basgo Gompa, a stunning monastery on a hill that overlooks the ancient town ruins. Drive back to overnight stay at Hotel.
• Day 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley

  After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley. The route passes through Khardungla pass (the highest motorable road in the world). Nubra Valley, also known as the valley of flowers, boasts of a spectacular scenery with green oasis providing stark contrast to the arid mountains, sand dunes, monasteries and boulder fields. Arrive at villages, Sumur or Hundar by afternoon and spend the day at leisure exploring the area. Visit Diskit Monastery. Stay overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Back to

  Post breakfast, visit sand dunes to enjoy a camel safari (optional). Later, drive back to the hotel in Leh. In the afternoon, rest and relax, or take a walk in the surrounding area or the local market. Spend some quality time at the hotel over a delicious meal, gazing at the stars.
• Day 5 : Pangong Lake

  After an early breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake. En-route, stop by the Shey Palace. It is an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and houses a golden giant statue of Buddha. Go towards Pangong through Changla pass. The popular Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet, is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven km at its widest point and over 130 km long. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back, the government decided to open it to tourists even though the lake and its surroundings are under the Army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape; it is a stunning and unadulterated interaction with the nature at its best. Spend the evening taking in the beauty of the region. Go to sleep after a wholesome meal at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Pangong Lake to Leh via Hemis Gompa

  Post breakfast, drive back to Leh and on the way, stop at the Hemis Gompa, a scenic monastery of the Drukpa order. Relish the scenic beauty of the region as you drive more to reach Leh. Check in at the hotel.
• Day 7 : Depart from Leh

  Post breakfast, get ready to bid adieu to Ladakh and leave for home, thereby, marking an end to your fun-filled holiday.
