Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Guwahati Airport/ Railway station.
  Visit Kamakhya Temple, Peacock Island and Guwahati state Museum.
  Night Stay at Guwahati.
• Day 2 :

  Drive to Kaziranga National Park ( 4/5 hrs drive)
  Night Stay at Bonhabi resort in Kaziranga .

  • Hotspots Kaziranga National Park
• Day 3 :

  Early morning elephant safari in the western range.
  Back to hotel for breakfast and visit Kaziranga orchid and biodiversity park.
  In the evening Jeep Safari in the central range.
  Night stay at Bonhabi resort Kaziranga.

  • Themes Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari
• Day 4 :

  Morning after breakfast depart for Majuli Island. (110 km, 2 hrs drive and 1 hrs ferry ride).
  En route cross the Brahmaputra river at Nimati ghat. Arrive and check in at traditionally built bamboo hut.
  Night stay at Majuli.

  • Hotspots Brahmaputra River
• Day 5 :

  Explore the culture and heritage of Assam at vaishnavite monasteries of Majuli.
  Cycling to nearby villages and watch sunset at Dorika river.
  Overnight camping at river bank.
• Day 6 :

  Return Journey to Jorhat.
  Check in at hotel.
  Visit Gavaru pathar tea estate and Garakhya doul.
  Overnight stay at Jorhat.
• Day 7 :

  Visit Gibbon wildlife Sanctuary in the early morning.
  Drive to Sibsagar. (70 km, 1 hrs drive).
  Check in at hotel.
  Visit the Kingdom of Ahom - Ranghar, Tolatol ghar, Shiva Dole, Shivasagar Tank, Kareng Ghar and Charaideo Maidam.
  Overnight stay at Sibsagar.
• Day 8 :

  Return journey to Guwahati.
  Night Stay at hotel.
• Day 9 :

  Return journey to Railway station/Airport.
