Package Overview

Annapurna base camp trek will take you to the diverse landscape filled with culturally rich mountain vistas, terraced fields, quaint Gurung villages and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Mt. Annapurna of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world with the 8091m elevation. This trek will take you up to its base camp, which is at 4130m height.

This is the short 10 day trek compared to most walk in this region leading up to the base camp. Moreover, we will reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) which is filled by the Nepalese for its unique beauty. This route is perfect for those who wish to hike to the base camp of the spectacular mountain but are restricted time-wise. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

  As you arrive at the airport, you will be greeted by our representative [Please look for your name card]. Depending on the time of your arrival, there will be a welcome drink hosted by 8eyes Travel. For dinner, you will be served authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to Nepal鈥檚 food culture.
  
  Overnight at Hotel
• Day 2 : Fly to Pokhara, trek to Ghandruk

  We take an early morning flight to Pokhara. Watch the beautiful lake city from above the sky and catch great views of the Himalayas. After landing in the Pokhara airport, we drive to Naya Pul (1 hour and 20 minutes) and start the trek. From there we trek to Gandruk, a small beautiful village of Pokhara, mostly inhabited by the Gurung Village. If time permits, we also visit the Gurung museum today.
  Overnight in Ghandruk
• Day 3 : Ghandruk to Sinuwa

  In day 03, we climb up for around an hour up to Komrong Danda. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machapuchhre) and Ganggapurna. A steep descent takes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere Danda, we descend for a while and from here it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Overnight in Sinuwa
• Day 4 : Sinuwa to Deurali

  We pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldighar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo.

• Day 5 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machapuchhre Base Camp

  The hike from Deurali to Machapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machapuchhre base camp we get excellent views of the majestic Machapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharva chuli and Ganggapurna. The vegetation disappears on our way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we will be able to see sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. From the base camp we again get to enjoy mesmerizing views of the Machapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks.
  
  Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp
• Day 6 : Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

  From Annapurna Base Camp, we trek back to Bamboo. Today鈥檚 trek is downhill, so it shouldn鈥檛 be very difficult. Besides, we will always have the company of the extraordinary landscape to cheer us up.
  Overnight in Bamboo
• Day 7 : Bamboo to Jhinu Danda

  We trek uphill to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be staying for the night. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching body.
  
  Overnight in Jhinu Danda
• Day 8 : Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara

  On our way back to Naya Pul, we will be seeing amazing hill landscape of Western Nepal. We will have lunch on the way. Our trek will end at Naya Pul where we board our vehicle to Pokhara.

  Note: If the road construction connecting Jhinu Danda to Naya Pul is complete, driving from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara could be another option.
• Day 9 : Fly to Kathmandu

  We will fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon. Either, you can stay at hotel and have your leisure time or go for a last minute shopping. There will be a farewell dinner hosted by 8eyes Travel.
  Overnight in Kathmandu
• Day 10 : Final Departure

  Our trek comes to an end as you pack your bags and leave for your next destination. Our representative will drop you off to the airport.
