Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Shillong Arrival And City Tour

  After arriving at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, you will be met by a representative of the travel agent and transferred to Shillong as part of the perfectly planned Meghalaya tour packages. Enjoy a route most scenic, on your way to this gorgeous hill station. En-route enjoy a little bit of sightseeing, when you stop at Borapani Lake, which is surrounded by the Khasi Hills.
  
  
  
  After you reach Shillong, get set to embark on an exploration of the beauteous environs of Shillong. Cover places such as the Shillong Peak in Upper Shillong, from where you can see the entire city spread below you. Next, head over to the Elephanta Falls, which is a natural marvel. Follow this up with a visit to Ward’s Lake, which is a lake located right in the heart of the city. It is one of the most popular attraction of the city, and is especially popular as a romantic destination. On wrapping up the tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Check in and enjoy a restful night of sleep.

• Day 2 : Day Trip To Cherrapunji

  As part of your Meghalaya trip itinerary, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, it is time for embarking on a journey towards Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on earth. It is one of the places that receive the highest amount of rainfall in the world. En-route you will enjoy seeing some more of the sights of this beautiful place. Make a stop at the Mawkdok Valley and Nohsngithiang falls that is also known as the Seven Sisters Falls. This is a symbol of the unity of the seven states of the North East. Later, pay a visit to the Mawsmai Cave and the Eco Park, from where you can enjoy views of the Sylhet Plains of Bangladesh. Return to your hotel in Shillong for the night.
• Day 3 : Departure And Temple Visit

  Today, you get to enjoy a lovely breakfast at the hotel, before checking out and leaving for Guwahati on day 3 of your Meghalaya trip package. On arrival in Guwahati, visit the Ma Kamakhaya Temple for giving this trip a religious end. Later, you will be dropped at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey home.
