Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Cochin

  On arrival at Cochin you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and later go for a half day sightseeing and visit the Mattan cherry Dutch Palace [closed on Fridays & public holidays] which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663, Jewish Synagogue [closed on Friday, Saturdays & Jewish Holidays], Chinese fishing nets. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Hotspots Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace
• Day 2 : Drive from Cochin to Munnar (135 km/approx. 4 hours)

  Breakfast. Check out and proceed to Munnar. On arrival in Munnar, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 3 : Sightseeing in Munnar

  After breakfast leave the hotel to explore the scenic land of Munnar. Start the excursion with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, which is the most prominent attraction of this region. It covers an area of approximately 97 square kilometers and is home to various elusive and endangered species. It is a great place to enjoy trekking and offers mind-blowing views of the tea plantations. After exploring this park, proceed towards Tea Museum [closed on Monday], which gives an insight in to the history of tea plantations of this region. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 4 : Drive from Munnar to Thekkady (110 km/approx. 4 hours)

  Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (Periyar). On arrival check in at the hotel. Thekkady is synonymous to uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity and spice plantations. The place is best known for the Periyar National Park. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady, evening watch traditional Kalari show. Return to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
• Day 5 : Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey (175 km/approx. 4.5 hours)

  Breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax. Later in the evening enjoy a motor boat cruise in the backwaters. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 6 : Drive from Alleppey to Cochin (90 km/approx. 3 hours)

  After breakfast proceed to Cochin Airport to board the return flight.
