Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : CHANDIGARH

  Arrive Chandigarh Airport. Transfer and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit the Rock Garden very close to the artificial Sukhna lake – the bizarre Rock Garden is a sort of concrete maze with a lot of rocks and very little garden. Evening return to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel. (D)

  Morning, after breakfast check out and proceed to Shimla (135 km). Arrive Shimla and check in at the hotel. Evening do a walking tour of the Shimla Mall.Visit the Himachal State Museum and Library, Viceregal Lodge, Christ Church Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

  Morning after breakfast check out of the hotel and leave for Manali. (250 km) Enroute visit Manikaran. Visit the Bajeshwar Mahadev Demple. This pyramidical temple belonging to the 8th century A.D. is embellished with wonderful carvings in stone and sculpture in the Shikhara style. This temple is situated about 200 metres from the village in a plain between the main road and the Beas river. Also visit the Manikaran Hot water springs. Proceed to Manali. Arrive Manali and check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

  After breakfast drive to Chamba (42 km 2 hours) a scenic place, visit the imperative attractions of Chamba, the magnificent Central Park which provides panoramic views of the entire hill station. Later on visit the Bhuri Singh Museum at Chamba named after the illustrious King Raja Bhuri, who had contributed his family compilation of paintings to the museum. The inscriptions in Sarda scripts that are exhibited in the museum give vital information on the medieval account of Chamba.  Evening return to Dalhousie. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
