Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Phnom Penh: Arrival and city tour

  Enjoy the rustic beauty of Phnom Penh
  
  After you arrive at Phnom Penh, you will be met by the agent’s representative and transferred to your hotel as per your Cambodia tour packages. Enjoy the ride that takes you along tree-lined roads bordered by colonial and French-style villas to your hotel.
  
  Check in and rest for a while, before embarking on a tour of the city as part of your Cambodia package. Visit the Khmer-style Royal Palace Complex, and the Emerald Buddha Temple also known as the Silver Pagoda. Marvel at the numerous Buddha statues that are decorated with gold, silver, diamonds and other gemstones.
  
  Next stop is at Independence Monument, where you can explore the National Museum, another Khmer-style building that is home to over 5000 antique art pieces. The beautifully crafted pieces are made of wood, sandstone, gold, silver, bronze, copper and other metals.
  
  Then this Cambodia tour takes you through the Riverfront Park, where 4 rivers, including the mystical Mekong meet and form a junction. Walk up the Phnom Daun Penh, the sacred hill after which the city has been named.

• Day 2 : Siem Reap

  Enjoy a day touring the city and a mesmerizing sunset cruise
  
  After a lovely breakfast, embark on a whole day tour of the city when on this Cambodia tour package. First stop would be the Tuol Sleng prison, a Genocide Museum that houses relics of the Khmer Rouge regime. It used to be a security camp, for the interrogation and extermination of Anti Cambodian nationals.
  
  Next stop is Choeung Ek Museum, where nearly 17,000 men, women and children were tortured and killed during the totalitarian region of Pol Pot.
  
  Later stop at Russian market to take a closer look at the daily activities of the locals and shop for souvenirs on such Cambodia packages. Embark on a cruise to witness the beauty of a Cambodian sunset on the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers in the ‘Four Arms’ section.
  
  The Mekong River meets the Tonle Sap River here, and splits into two branches. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel as you wind up day 2 of your Cambodia vacation package.
• Day 3 : Siem Reap

  Enjoy a day in the ancient Angkor Wat complex
  
  After breakfast, take the early morning flight to Siem Reap, as per your Cambodia tour itinerary. You will be escorted to your hotel. Check-in and freshen up, before leaving for your tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex, a famed UNESCO World Heritage site.
  
  First stop is Ta Prohm, made even more famous thanks to the movie Tomb Raider. Next is Prasat Kravan, which are famous for their unique brick sculptures. Stop at Srah Srang (The Royal Baths), which was used for ritual bathing.
  
  Your Cambodia tour packages will also take you to Banteay Samre, with its rose colored walls full of bas-relief sculptures, and Banteay Srei, where the walls are covered with beautiful carvings. The last stop would be Wat Bo, the oldest pagoda of Cambodia.
  
  Before wrapping up day 3 of your Cambodia package, pay a visit to the local market. Enjoy dinner at the Apsara show, where traditional Khmer dance and drama performances will entertain you. Return to hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Siem Reap

  Another day in the lap of wilderness of Angkor Wat temple complex
  
  After a hearty breakfast, get ready for a day of adventure as part of your Cambodia tour itinerary. Continue your tour of Angkor on bicycles. Ride along the well-paved bicycle tracks and less-traveled roads, which takes you through local villages. Reach Angkor Wat, home to the longest continuous bas-relief in the entire world. These sculptures are carved on the walls and ceilings, and depict the legends of Hindu gods.
  
  Today, explore Angkor Thom, the South Gate, and Bayon Temple, where 200 smiling faces of Buddha adorn the 54 towers. Next stop is Baphuon Temple, which represents Mount Meru, said to be the residence of Gods as per Hindu mythology. Also visit The Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King, and the Royal Land as per this Cambodia package.
  
  Wind up the tour of Angkor, and return to the main city. Visit downtown Siem reap for dinner, enjoy a 1-hour foot massage and have a drink or two at the many bars and pubs of the lively night market.
  
  Wind up day 4 of your Cambodia tour package and return to hotel for a restful night of sleep.
• Day 5 : Departure

  Time to wrap up your Cambodia tour package
  
  Get up early to enjoy the sunrise from near the Angkor temples on the last day of your Cambodia vacation package. Come back to the hotel for a lovely breakfast, before you embark on a boat trip to explore the mysteries of the freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, Tonle Sap. Watch in awe the floating villages and the life of the villagers, who commute between the mainland and the villages using canoes and speedboats.
  
  Visit Puok, which houses the Artisans d’Angkor silk, to watch the entire process of silk production, as part of your Cambodia tourism package. Watch the silk worms consume mulberry leaves and spin their cocoons. Watch the extraction process, the weaving work, and you can also purchase silk products as a souvenir to remember your Cambodia trip by.
  
  Wind up your half day tour, and get ready to be dropped at the Siem Reap airport for your return flight to India.
