Package Overview

Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is dedicated to Shiva. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m (12,756 ft) about 141 km (88 mi) from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir and reached through Pahalgam and sonmarg town. The shrine forms an important part of Hinduism and is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism. The cave is surrounded by snowy mountains. The cave itself is covered with snow most of the year except for a short period of time in summer when it is open for pilgrims. Thousands of Hindu devotees make an annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave on challenging mountainous terrain to see an ice stalagmite formed inside the cave.3.09% Government service tax extra.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : SRINAGAR - SONMARG (100 KMS / 4 HOURS)

  On arrival at Srinagar Airport. Meet & greet and transfer by car to Sonmarg. Arrive Sonmarg & check in at your booked hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in sonmarg.
• Day 2 : SONMARG - BALTAL - PANCHTARNI - BALTAL - SRINAGAR

  After early breakfast, short drive of approx 15 Kms, after reaching to Baltal board the helicopter and reach to panchtarni. Then you can proceed for Amarnath Ji Darshan. Later after darshan you can board the helicopter and reaching to baltal board the vehicle and proceed to Srinagar. Overnight stay at the hotel / Houseboat
• Day 3 : SRINAGAR

  Today after breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Srinagar where you can explore the world famous bagh like Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, chashme shahi and later you can also visit to Shankracharya Temple. Return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel / houseboat.
• Day 4 : DEPARTURE

  After Breakfast, check out from the hotel/houseboat. Transfer you to the airport to connect your flight to your onward journey.
