Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Cochin 鈥� Munnar

  Our representative will receive you at the Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station (depend on your arrival place). Drive to Munnar (140 km 鈥� 4 hours drive) and check into the hotel on arrival. Spend the day at leisure and overnight stay is arranged in Munnar.
• Day 2 : Munnar

  Spend the day with local sightseeing. Munnar is a magnificent hill station in the Western Ghats at about 5000 feet above sea level. This is one of the best hill stations in Kerala and is the major centre of Kerala's tea industry. Munnar means three rivers and the town is located at the confluence of 3 mountain streams - Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. These 3 stream confluence at the heart of the town and meet all the water requirements of the settlers and visitors. Munnar has lakes, forests and several tea estates. Anaimudi, the highest peak in South India (2695 m/8883 ft.) is nearby. Munnar was the British Government's Summer Resort in the South and it has been the favorite summer resort of the European sellers for centuries. Major sightseeing attractions are the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam National Park, Top Station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam, Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Pallivasal/Pothamedu, etc. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.

• Day 3 : Munnar 鈥� Thekkady

  After early breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Thekkady (110 km 鈥� 3 Hours drive), on arrival check into the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

• Day 4 : Thekkady - Cochin Departure

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin Airport for your flight back home feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spend in the 鈥淕od鈥檚 Own Country鈥�.
