Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali 鈥� Serchu

  Manali to Sarchu (222 Kms) After breakfast leave for Serchu by early Morning, through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft), Lahaul Valley, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa, Lunch Break at Darcha. After the Lunch drive to Serchu through Baralacha Pass(16020 ft). Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Serchu 鈥� Leh

  Serchu to Leh (255 Kms) Leave for Leh by early morning, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and IndusValley. Arrive Leh by evening. Overnight Hotel.

• Day 3 : Leh to Pangong Lake

  After early breakfast drive to Pangong lake the biggest high altitude lake in Asia. The surface from Leh to Pangong Tso crosses through the villages of Shey and Gya and on to Kharu. From Kharu the journey leads to another mountain pass called Chang-La (5425 m). The climb to Chang-la is tough and by reaching the top, greeted with a Sign that says 鈥淵ou have reached the Mighty ChangLa鈥�. The road from Chang-La is very good and passes through Tangste and small villages. The final hurdle on this road is called 鈥淭he Crazy Stream鈥�. After crossing the stream, welcomed by the first View of Pangong Tso 鈥� the lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,250 m (13,900 ft), is 134 km long and extends from India to China. Two thirds of the length of this lake lies in China. The lake is 5 km wide at its broadest point. In winter, the lake surface freezes completely despite being salty water. Bar headed Goose and Brahmini Duck are commonly seen here in summer. Around the lake supported by a number of species of wildlife including the Kiang and the Marmots. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains.. Overnight at camp.

• Day 4 : Pangong Lake to Leh

  After Breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight Hotel.

• Day 5 : Leh to Nubra Valley

  After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 6 : Nubra Valley to Leh

  After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 7 : Leh to Alchi

  After Breakfast drive to Alchi enroute visit Basgo Palace, Liker Monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Arrive Alchi by afternoon. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Visit Alchi monastery and spend rest of the day free to explore Alchi village. Overnight at Hotel or Camp.

• Day 8 : Alchi to Kargil

  After Breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute visit Moon landscape, Lamayuru (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh) and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Arrive at Kargil by evening. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 9 : Kargil to Drass to Sonamarg to Srinagar

  After early Breakfast drive to Srinagar passing through Drass, the second coldest inhabited Place on earth and you can have spectacular view of Kargil War famous Peaks Tiger Hill and other Peaks. Arrive Srinagar by Evening. Fly back home with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
