During this safari, you will be enjoying the nature, wildlife of the Northern Parks of Tanzania: Tarangire NP, Manyara NP, Ngorongoro Crater and Zanzibar. You will be traveling together with your local and professional guide while taking you on this adventurous trip and show you all the wildlife / nature, &more. Tanzania is the best safari country in Africa. You will be staying in well located (tented) camps and lodges with en-suite facilities all visited regularly by our team.



Getting there

This tour starts at Arusha and ends at Zanzibar
This operator can help select your international flights, but you鈥檒l have to book them yourself
Fly to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) near Arusha, and fly from Zanzibar International Airport.
A transfer from and back to the airport can be arranged.
Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

  Welcome in Africa! Welcome in Tanzania! After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will transfer you to Arusha at your accommodation. It is a 1-hour drive from the airport. Here you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation for the adventures to come. You鈥檒l be hosted by our partner hotel The charity Hotel.

• Day 2 : Tarangire National Park, Omega View Hotel

  Your Safari starts! The driver is well educated and has a lot of knowledge about the country, animals and nature and even more, he is very passionate about it.
  
  The safari vehicle has 6 or 8 window seats. When you are inside the parks the rooftop will go up so you can see the animals close by. In most vehicles you can charge your phone or batteries.
  
  Tarangire National Park is also a very scenic park with expansive views of baobab-studded grasslands. Tarangire River, a permanent river attracts many animals especially during the dry season this is bringing the park to life. The Park owes its name to Tarangire River, which flows through the area. It is characterized by dense vegetation of acacia and mixed woodland, the area around Tarangire River however, is dominated by huge baobab trees and old doom palm trees to a lesser prominence, as well as black cotton grass.
  
  At the end of the afternoon, you will make your way to your next accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  Today you have to rise early as your driver will take you to one of the most special places on this planet:
  
  The crater is a non-active volcano, to reach the crater floor you have to make quite a descent. In the Ngorongoro crater the diversity in animals and flora is immense. All the animals of the 鈥淏ig Five鈥� (elephant, Black Rhino, Buffaloes, Leopard and the Lion) can be found in the crater. Today it is your chance to see the rare Black Rhino. In Lake Magadi, the alkaline lake in the crater, Flamingos look for their food while Hippos cool down in the sweet water pools after their grazing outing at night. In the Lerai Forest Elephant with giant tusks pull leaves and branches from the trees while on the plains Wildebeests, Zebras and Antelopes are grazing. Lions often look for the shade, sometimes even the shade of a car. The high numbers of animals and the imposing landscape with the crater walls make a day in the crater and overwhelming experience.

• Day 4 : Lake Manyara National Park.

  After breakfast you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National for a short Game drive.
  
  Lake Manyara National Park is well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos, we are talking about breath-taking scenery! Lake Manyara has a big number of elephants, so many giraffes; zebras, wildebeest, impala, Waterbuck and warthog, small known shy Kik鈥檚 dik-dik as well as Klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment. Leopards are hosted within the broken forests and escarpment, healthy lions that are widely known for their tree climbing pranks. Lake Manyara is regarded as to have Africa鈥檚 largest huge herds of baboons.
  
  After game drive, transferred to Omega View Hotel & Resort for dinner and overnight.

• Day 5 : Zanzibar.

  After breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for the air transfer to Zanzibar.
  
  It will take you about 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Zanzibar. Please note that you are allowed to carry 20 kilos of luggage each, packed in soft bags. At Zanzibar airport a driver will be waiting for you to bring you to Northern part of Zanzibar (Nungwi), it is a 1.5-hour drive. Located on the northern part of the island, Nungwi is a lively village surrounded by some of Zanzibar鈥檚 most beautiful beaches. It is a popular island destination full of life. It is also one of the only places from where you can see both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. You can take some rest and enjoy this paradise made of beautiful beaches of white sand and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. You will spend 4 nights at this incredible place. Overnight will be at Kwenda cool and Calm Hotel鈥� Nungwi.

• Day 6 : Lake Manyara National Park

  After breakfast you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National for a short Game drive.
  
  Lake Manyara has a big number of elephants, Leopards are hosted within the broken forests and escarpment, healthy lions that are widely known for their tree climbing pranks. Lake Manyara is regarded as to have Africa鈥檚 largest huge herds of baboons.
  
  Later that afternoon you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. There you will say goodbye to the driver guide of the last week.
  
  You will fly to Zanzibar in about 1 to 1.5 hours.
  
  Please note: for this flight you are allowed to bring 20 kilos of luggage each, packed in soft bags!
  
  At Zanzibar airport a driver will be waiting for you to bring you to Jambiani, it is a 1-hour drive.

• Day 7 : Zanzibar.
