Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Leh

  On arrival at Leh Airport you will be met, assisted and get driven to Leh hotel. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Located at an elevation ranging between 7545 and 16404 feet above sea level, Leh is utterly a mountainous region, with three equivalent Himalayan ranges 鈥� Karakoram,听Ladakh听and Zanskar. After Kutch in Gujarat, Leh in Jammu and Kashmir is the second largest district in India. This place known for its stunning sceneries of extroverted valleys and snow-capped mountains, beckons flock of travelers every year. Some of the chief attraction of the place is Stok Monastery, Pangong Lake, Shanti Stupa and Nubra Valley.

• Day 2 : Leh 鈥� Excursion to Sham Valley (35- 40 Kms One Way 4-5 Hrs.)

  After breakfast, we drive towards the western part of Ladakh, along the beautiful Indus River on the Leh - Srinagar highway. Our first destination for the day is the legendary听Hall of Fame,听which is a museum founded by the Indian Army as a tribute to the gallantry of those Indian soldiers who lost their lives to protect the country. A visit to the Hall of Fame is bound to spark that patriotic spirit within.

  We proceeded further to the听Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, nestled snugly in the laps of the Himalayan Mountains. This 15th-century gurudwara is a mere 5 km drive from the iconic Magnetic Hill, a scientific anomaly that defies the laws of gravity!
  
  Further along the journey, we halt at Sangam听- the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.听You can see the two, distinctly coloured rivers merge beautifully in the laps of lofty mountains.

  After visiting above places we drive back to Leh via听Spituk Monastery. Towering over the pristine Indus River, the monastery dates back to the 11th century and presently houses about 100 monks.
  The monastery used to follow the Kadampa school of Buddhism until the 15 th 听century, when the Gelukpa school of Buddhism was founded, and can still be seen in practice with the Gelukpa order.

• Day 3 : Leh 鈥� Chumthang 鈥� Tsomoriri 鈥� Leh (240 Kms / 05 鈥� 06 Hrs Drive One Way)

  Early morning have packed breakfast & get driven to Tsomoriri Lake, via Chumthang, which is famous for听medical hot spring听and people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive will take you to Mahey Bridge, the main checking point to enter to this new area. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Tsomoriri Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. Recently opened to foreigners due to the proximity of the Chinese border, the Changthang is a land of wilderness and magnificent landscapes, Tsomoriri Lake is also the breeding ground for numerous species of birds, like the bar headed goose, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy Sheldrake) and the brown-headed gull. The Tsomoriri Lake is 8 Kms wide and 28 Kms long. On arrival at Tsomoriri, spend some time at the lake and get driven back to Leh.

• Day 4 : Leh 鈥� Nubra Valley via Khardungla (120 Kms / 4 鈥� 5 Hrs Drive)

  After breakfast, check-out form the hotel and get driven to the valley of flowers mainly called as Nubra valley. On arrival at Nubra, check-in at your camp / hotel.
  The road will go through the Khardungla 鈥� uppermost motor-able pass in the world at a height of 18390 feet. Click the pictures of panoramic pass and proceed further to reach Nubra valley. Here you will be sighting the rocky to snowy mountains, Rivers, Sand dunes, Deserts and many more.

• Day 5 : Nubra 鈥� Turtuk 鈥� Nubra

  After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of muslims still resembles mini Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of听Shyok听Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a muslim village, there are few gompas located on the plateau above听Shyok听River and there is a old royal house to see in village. Return to Hundar by the evening.

• Day 6 : Nubra 鈥� Pangong via Shyok

  After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery, where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and directly proceed to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Dinner and Overnight stay at Pangong.

• Day 7 : Pangong Lake 鈥� Leh (180 KMS / 5-7 HRS)

  Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh enroute visiting Hemis monasterya, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyut Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.

COVID-19 RELATED TERMS & CONDITIONS

• User agrees that due to recent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, which has been declared as a national disaster by the Government of India, there may be instances, where the end service provider either cancels the booking or refuses to provide the services, as agreed with the User, by assigning or not assigning any specific reason for such refusal. Refusal of service may be due to the reasons including but not limited to the User:
• Exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID 19.
• Refusing to comply with safety advisories, like wearing protective gear, complying with social distancing norms etc. Suffering of any ailment making the User vulnerable to the virus posing a threat to the health and safety of others
• In such cases we will assume no liability for the refusal of service by the end service provider. The User also agrees that refund, if any, for such bookings will be processed by us to the User subject to receipt of the same from the end service provider.
• User further understands that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Central Government through its ministries, State Governments and statutory bodies have/may come up with detailed set of guidelines or standard operating procedure (SOP) that a traveller will have to follow in order to undertake the travel.
• The User agrees to abide with all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. Failure to abide by such detailed set of guidelines/SOP, may lead to a situation where the service provider or any person authorized by the Central Government, State Government or statutory body may disallow the User to undertake the travel. In such circumstances, COIT will not be held liable for such refusal to travel and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the service provider.
• User understands that the Central Government, State Governments and various other bodies, may mandate downloading of Arogya Setu App or submitting a self- declaration form prior to entering a transit point like airport, railway station etc. or at the time of checking-in for a flight, into a hotel etc. Accordingly, the User must ensure downloading of Arogya Setu App on their smartphones or provide any other alternate such as self-declaration when demanded.
• User undertakes that all bookings are subject to certain minimum medical wellbeing criteria specified by the Govt. / appropriate authority from time to time. User should have no medical history of the COVID-19 virus 28 days before the date of scheduled travel, especially in case of inbound travel. In this regard the User may be required to furnish a medical proof or health declaration in a applicable format.
