Set off from Kampala at 7:00am and drive to Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to Budongo Forest Ecotourism site for an afternoon chimp trek.
Later proceed to Paraa - Murchison falls park headquarters and check in at your Lodge/ Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After early breakfast, take on an early morning game drive on the northern bank of River Nile's palm studded grassland that supports dense populations of game and birds. Return to your accommodation unit for a lunch break.
Take on a scheduled afternoon launch cruise along the Nile River up to the bottom of the thundering falls. Hike up to the "Top of the Falls" for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile.
Later return to your Lodge/ Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After early breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive southward down the western edge of Uganda through winding agricultural lands and villages. Proceed and enter the beautiful crater-lake region of Fortportal located underneath the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains where you will spend the night. Dinner and overnight stay.
After enjoying an early delicious breakfast, prepare yourself for an exciting meeting with the chimpanzees! Set out into the forest to track our closet living relatives the endangered chimpanzee which trek may also yield sighting of other primates. Break off for lunch.
After lunch, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk around the Magombe swamp. All proceedings from this activity go back to the community a conservation project worth supporting. After your 3-4 hour wetland walk, return to your accommodation unit for dinner and overnight stay.
Visit the Ndali crater area for scenic viewing of the gorgeous crater lakes before heading Queen Elizabeth National Park driving along the Rwenzori ranges and Savanna grasslands.
Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, carry out a game drive through a cluster of extinct volcanoes north of Mweya between the Main and equator gates. The game drive provides superb views into numerous craters, some filled by lovely lakes, as well as across the rift valley floor.
Check in at your accommodation unit for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive to Kyambura Gorge for a thrilling Chimpanzee trek which may also yield sightings of other primates. The gorge is a natural habitat for the chimpanzee and its steep gradient requires one to be physically fit. Return to your lodge for Lunch.
After lunch, drive to the dock on Kazinga channel for a relaxing launch cruise; an excellent way to see a wide variety of water birds and other wild life coming to water at the channel. Retire to your lodge for a relaxing evening as you watch the spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.
Rise very early for a pre breakfast morning game drive that will enable you catch up with the early risers and predators.
Return to your lodge for late breakfast after which you will check out and drive back to Kampala. Arrive Kampala in the evening where you will be dropped.
