Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi / Srinagar/ Shikara ride

  On arrival in Srinagar meet and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel/ Houseboat. Afternoon 2-3 Hours Shikara ride on Dal Lake by a 鈥淪HIKARA鈥� witness floating and vegetable gardens & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machine & wood of a walnut. Evening return to your reserved Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Srinagar 鈥� Sonmarg 鈥� Srinagar

  After breakfast full day trip to SONMARG 鈥淭HE MEADOW OF GOLD鈥�- 88 Kms from Srinagar will be covered about 2-陆 hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. The SINDH RIVER that meanders through the valley abounds with TROUT .Ponies can be hired for the trip up to THAJIWAS GLACIER, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Evening return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 : Srinagar 鈥� Pahalgam

  After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam 鈥淰ALLEY OF SHEPHERDS鈥� drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwarman). ). Enroute visit 鈥淢attan Temple鈥� few kms ahead of Anantnag, a pond full of holy fishes is believed to be creations of Lord Shiva. Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 96 kms will be covered in about 2 陆 hrs. On arrival at Pahalgam check in at your reserved hotel for overnight. One can enjoy a pony ride through thick pine forest, enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for AMARNATH PILGRIMAGE. Evening return hotel for dinner and overnight.

• Day 4 : Pahalgam 鈥� Gulmarg

  After breakfast drive to Gulmarg 鈥淢eadow of Flowers鈥�2730Mts. above sea level. The distance of 155 kms will be covered in about 3 陆 hrs. Gulmarg is famous for Ski Resort & the world鈥檚 highest 18 hole Golf Course. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The View enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. On arrival in Gulmarg check in at your reserved hotel. One can have a short trek Up to Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy a cable car ride which takes to the highest point. Evening return to your reserved hotel for dinner and overnight.

• Day 5 : Gulmarg 鈥� Srinagar- Mughal Gardens

  After early breakfast drive to Srinagar and transfer to Houseboat. Afternoon visit Mughul Gardens 鈥淣ISHAT鈥� (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. and 鈥淪HALIMAR鈥� (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. Cheshmashahi (Royal Springs) built by Ali Mardan Khan in 1632.All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountainsin the back ground, Enroute visit 鈥淪HANKARACHARIYATEMPLE鈥� famous for Shiv temple of Srinagar which is situated near Dal gate above 305 mts above on the hill to see it you have to ride 242 steps. According to historians this temple got constructed by the Jhaluka , the son King Ashoka 200BC. From the temple you can see the panoramic view of Srinagar City. Evening return to your reserved Houseboat for dinner and overnight.

• Day 6 : Srinagar 鈥� Yousmarg 鈥� Srinagar

  After breakfast, drive to Yousmarg (a Scenic meadow), mesmerizes tourists with its scenic beauty and mountains comparable of European Alps. Situated amidst Sang safed Valley, Yousmarg is reputed for having some unique spring flowers. It also has some of the highest peaks and Pirpanjal range like Tatakoti 4725mts and sunset peak 4746mts. The mighty River Dodh Ganga makes this destination more thrilling. The nature slope slopes of Yousmarg offer skiing opportunities to experts. Evening return to Srinagar Houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.
