Package Overview

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, one of the seven union territories of India comprising 572 islands of which 37 are inhabited, are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. The territory is about 150 km (93 mi) north of Aceh in Indonesia and separated from Thailand and Myanmar by the Andaman Sea. It comprises two island groups, the Andaman Islands (partly) and the Nicobar Islands, separated by the 150 km wide Ten Degree Channel (on the 10°N parallel), with the Andamans to the north of this latitude, and the Nicobars to the south (or by 179 km). The Andaman Sea lies to the east and the Bay of Bengal to the west.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Port Blair - Chidiya Tapu Beach

  Fly in to Port Blair Airport. Our representative will meet and assist you at the Veer Savarkar Airport. Board the waiting vehicles, drive to your hotel / resort and check in.
  The first half of the day is at leisure. Later in the afternoon, visit Chidiya Tapu beach. Located on the southernmost tip of South Andaman, Chidiya Tapu is also termed as "Bird Island of Andaman and Nicobar". There are nearly 45 species of birds spotted in this place like Parakeet, Hanging Parrots, White Breasted Sea Eagle, Imperial Green Doves, etc. Colorful butterflies, Pristine and clear Seawater, different shaded shells, etc add more to the beauty of Chidiya Tapu. Chidiya Tapu is ideal for Snorkeling. When in Chidiya Tapu you should visit Chidiya Tapu Biological Park, Munda Pahar beaches, Sylvan Sands, Chidiya Tapu Beach, etc. The local people indulge in craftworks made up of shells like an ashtray, bangles, decorative jewel boxes, tray, etc. The Government-run guest house located atop the hillock provides you a pleasant stay. From this guest house, you will get a glance of the entire village. Also, the elephants trained at Burmah Wala can be seen working in nearby areas.

• Day 2 : Sunrise at Corbyn’s Cove Beach - Excursion to Cellular Jail - Light & Sound Show

  You need to wake-up and start as early as 3:30 in the morning to see sunrise at Corbyn’s Cove beach. The Corbyn’s Cove, is a serene and unspoiled soft sandy beach, set in picturesque background of lush green coconut palms and pleasant blue sea. After watching the sunrise and spending some time at the beach, head back to your hotel for breakfast. In the late afternoon, visit Cellular jail followed by light and sound show. The Cellular Jail has a pride of place in India’s freedom struggle. Many a stalwart were imprisoned here. Declared a national memorial, this three-story prison constructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Port Blair to Havelock Island and Radhanagar Beach

  Today after breakfast you will transfer to Jetty to board ferry/cruise to Havelock Island. Havelock, about 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair, the Island is a hidden jewel.
  Havelock is a serene tropical island encompassing about 86 square kilometers. Its clear waters are rated among the best in the world for Snorkeling and scuba diving. Close to 1000 different species of marine life inhabit the waters of the Andaman Islands. Scuba divers can see nude branches, sea slugs and snails, varieties of ghost pipefish, jaw fish and a number of different crustaceans of all shapes and sizes. With its serene beaches, 40 meters visibility underwater, colorful coral reefs and ‘far from the maddening crowd’ appeal. Havelock Island has emerged as a dream destination among discerning travelers. Arrive at Havelock Jetty, you are met and assisted by our representative.
  Board the waiting vehicles and drive to the hotel. After check-in, relax a little. In the evening, proceed to Radhanagar Beach. Stay until sunset and return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Havelock.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Elephant Beach - Kalapathar Beach Visit

  Elephant Beach is a small pristine beach, rather remotely located; it can be reached by boat. The beach is also an extremely good place for Snorkeling with an easily accessible house reef, which boasts of beautiful corals and other marine life. The beach has also emerged as Havelock’s favourite spot for scuba diving. It is tailor made to be a beginner's dive site. One can just walk straight from the beach and on to the spot where divers practice.
  Just 40 min by boat, this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it's so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling (snorkeling at extra cost). It's also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The Kalapathar beach is situated on one corner of Havelock Island. The beach gets its name from the surrounding village, which is Kalapathar Village and the black rocks (known as Kalapathar in Hindi) that adorn the coastline here. Return to the hotel to relax and unwind.

• Day 5 : Transfer to Neil Island

  After Breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to the jetty to board ferry/cruise to Neil Island.
  Neil Island is triangularly shaped with lust green surroundings of paddy fields, banana plantations, and tropical trees. Many natural beaches and attraction like Howrah Bridge, a natural bridge formation makes this Island a much sought after picnic spot. The sandy beaches at Bharatpur Beach and Laxmanpur Beach are very attractive for spending holidays. Tourists who like to spend vacations in an eco-friendly locale will find this Island ideal. The breath-taking view of the sea and the lush greenery really rejuvenating and enjoyable for enthusiastic travelers.
  On arrival, our representative will receive you and escort you to the Hotel.

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for sightseeing.
