Pushkar is set on the Pushkar lake which is the most famous place to visit here. It is said to have been formed by a lotus flower dropped by Lord Brahma. It therefore follows that the Brahma temple here is the most popular temple attracting several tourists.

Pushkar Lake is surrounded by fifty-two bathing ghats and is an excellent destination to witness Hindu pilgrims and their rituals. The Gandhi ghat is significant due to the fact that Mahatma Gandhi鈥檚 ashes were sprinkled here. If you want to enjoy a spectacular top view of the lake, you can trek up to the Saraswati temple which is on a hill.
