Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Depart Kampala, Visit Caves & proceed to Kibale Forest National Park

  After early breakfast, set off from Kampala by 8:00am and take the Mubende - Fort portal road with a lunch break enroute. Visit Nyakasura caves before continuing to Kibale Forest National Park one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in Uganda;- home to our closest relatives - the endangered Chimpanzee. Check in at your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Meet the Forest Chimpanzees and Go for a Swamp Walk.

  After enjoying an early delicious breakfast, prepare yourself for an exciting meeting with the chimpanzees! Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Break off for lunch.
  
  After lunch, go for a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary an eco tourism site run by the local community. All proceedings from this activity go back to the community a conservation project worth supporting.
  
  After your 3 - 4 hour wetland walk, return to your accommodation unit for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : View Water Birds & other Wild Life in Queen Elizabeth National Park

  Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving along Mountain Rwenzori Ranges and savanna grasslands. Arrive at the park in time for Lunch.
  
  After lunch, drive to the dock on Kazinga channel for a relaxing launch cruise to view a wide variety of water birds other wild life coming to water at the channel. Retire to your lodge for a relaxing evening as you watch the spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Wildlife & Tree Climbing Lions - drive to Bwindi Forest National Park

  Rise very early for a pre breakfast morning game drive that will enable you catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts.
  
  Return to your lodge for late breakfast. After breakfast, check out of your lodge with packed lunch and drive to Bwindi Forest National Park through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for tree climbing lions. Drive further southwards to Bwindi Arriving in the evening.
  
  Check in at your accommodation unit for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Meet Bwindi's Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas

  After breakfast, prepare for a meeting with the great apes - the Mountain Gorillas. You will be allowed to spend one hour with these gentle giants upon location.
  
  On return from the forest, meet with colleagues exhilarated to relive the encounter with friends over a drink. Dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Return to Kampala.

  Check out of your Lodge/ Camp and embark on your return journey to Kampala. Break off for Lunch enroute. Arrive Kampala in the evening and be dropped at your Hotel or place of residence.
