Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVE LEH

  On arrival at Leh airport, our representative will be there to meet you and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft/ 35 00 mts). An overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed to visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Later, I returned to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 3 : LEH < PANGONG LAKE> LEH

  Today, we will go for a full day excursion tour to Pangong Lake, which is approx. 300 kms round trip. The lake is located on the Indo-China Border. En route, we will be crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.)
  After a sightseeing tour around the lake, we will drive back to Leh, reaching late afternoon/evening. An overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 4 : LEH LEH

  After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to visit 11th century Alchi Tsokar, the oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh, a UNESCO listed heritage site. While returning back to Leh from here, we will visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) and the Hall of Fame. An overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 5 : LEH < KHARDUNG> LEH

  This morning, we will leave for an excursion to Khardung La (80 kms round trip/alt: 18,380 ft), highest motorable pass in the world that is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day is free to explore the local markets for shopping etc. An overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 6 : LEH DEPARTURE

  We will leave early in the morning to the airport to catch the flight back home
