Package Overview

First We will Drive to Explore the wonderful nature in Kaziranga National Park. Later we will go for Meghalaya. In this itinerary includes sightseeings like Donbosco Musuem, Mawphlang Sacred Forest, Mawphlang village, Laitlum Canyons, Elephant Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkailikai Falls (World’s fourth highest), the living root bridge, Cathedral Catholic Church, Maa Kamakhya Mandir, Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra, Umananda Temple (world’s smallest river island in river Brahmaputra) ect. Our privet car will take you to every sightseeing.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA (3 hrs 40 mins)

  Meet and greet our representative at airport/railway station and directly proceed towards kaziranga national park. On arrival we will check-in at hotel rest for a while and visit Bio-diversity Orchid Park where we will also enjoy the local Tradition Dance and local food inside the park. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : KAZIRANGA – SHILLONG (252 km, 5 hrs 30 mins)

  Morning after breakfast we will visit Kaziranga National park jeep safari and after that directly proceed towards Shillong. On arrival check in at hotel and rest for a while after that we will visit Lady Hydra Park & Wards Lake. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : SHILLONG

  Morning after breakfast we will visit Donbosco Musuem, Hailed as Asia's largest Museum of Indigenous Cultures, the Don Bosco Museum is the house of the beautiful culture and tradition of North East India. Mawphlang Sacred Forest, nestled in the East Khasi Hills near Mawphlang village, has its roots steeped deep in the age-old religious beliefs, in which forests are regarded as a sacred entity. Laitlum – Grand canyon of North east Laitlum Canyons is a little-explored haunt of themountainous state of Meghalaya. Laitlum translates to 'end of hills' and this sublimely beautiful hilltop appears to be true to its name. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : SHILLONG – CHERAPUNJEE (55 km, 2 hrs)

  Morning after breakfast we will drive towards Cherapunjee. En-route we will visit Elephant Falls. Cherapunjee is impressive with its gushing waterfalls and the deep gorges. You will get stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh. Close to town are the glorious Nohsngithiang Falls (Mawsmai Falls), ainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (World’s fourth highest) and many other waterfalls. On arrival check-in at hotel rest for a while and visit Mawsmai Cave-6 km from the Cherrapunjee market to the south lays the village of Mawsmai in the direction of Bangladesh border, Also visit Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

• Day 5 : CHERAPUNJEE – MAWLYNON – DAWKI – SHILLONG (81 km, 2 hrs 34 mins)

  Morning after breakfast drive towards Mawllynong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya,also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai.
  The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. The village has won accolade for being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003 as well as the Cleanest Village in India in 2005. The village also offers breathtaking view of Bangladesh plains as it is located on the Indo-Bangla border. Afternoon drive towards Dawki. enjoy boating at Umngot River cleanest river water ever, enjoy the view of Jaflong point. later on return back to Shillong. Overnight at hotel
