Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Paro Airport to Thimphu (1hrs)

  Arrive at Paro airport- Our representative will welcome you and drive to Thimphu.

  Check in the hotel
  Evening leisure around the city
  Overnight stay in the hotel

  • Themes Sightseeing
• Day 2 : Thimphu sightseeing

  Take Breakfast in the Hotel.
  Your Guide and driver will receive you from the hotel for the local sightseeing which includes the Memorial Chorten built in memory of the 3rd King.
  Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue
  Visit Folk Heritage Museum – The museum is housed in a 3-story 19th century traditional rammed mud and timber house aged more than 150 years.
  Takin Zoo- Takin Preserve, located in the Motithang district of Thimphu, Bhutan is a wildlife reserve area for takin, the national animal of Bhutan.
  Visit Handicraft market
  Overnight stay in the Hotel.

• Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha (3 Hrs) altitude 1350m

  Have Breakfast in the hotel.
  Check out from the hotel & drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass.
  Visit Dochula Pass (3150m.)- 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens built over the pass by queen
  mother in 2003 marks the pass more important and beautiful.
  On arrival at Punakha, check in the hotel.
  Walk to Chimmi Lhakang - walk through the rice field of Mesina to Chimi Lhakhang,
  Temple of fertility
  Visit Punakha Dzong - showcase the finest example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan
  Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Punakha to Paro (4 Hrs)

  Have breakfast in the hotel
  Check out from the hotel & drive to Paro.
  On the way stop at Saba River Point.
  Visit Tachog Lhakhang- is small private temple and traditional suspension bridge located some 15 km on the way from Paro town to Thimphu. It was built in 16th century by Tibetan saint Thangton Gampo.
  Arrival at Paro
  Check in Hotel & take lunch
  Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum of Bhutan)
  Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Hike to Taktsang (Tiger Nest)

  Breakfast in the hotel
  Day hike to Tiger Nest Temple (5hrs walk ) perched on a rock overlooking a sheer drop
  and clings seemingly impossible to a cliff of rock at 900m above the valley floor.
  Evening Leisure in Town or go for hot stone bath (optional)
  Overnight stay in Hotel.

• Day 6 : Departure from Paro Airport

Visa Documents

• Only scan of passport + face photo (passport size photograph), submit to operator at least 2 weeks in advance.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

• Before 31 days : 5% cancellation charges
• Between 21 - 30 days : 20% cancellation charges from only land package
• Between 10 - 20 days : 50% cancellation charges from only land package
• Less than 9 days : 100% cancellation charges from only land package

Note

• The group can be postponed to avoid any cancellation charges. No charges if postpone the group to next any date within one year.
• There is no cancellation charges for the Government Royalty. It will be full refunded prior to any number of days or no show.
