Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR

  Our Representative will pick you up from Airport, to escort you to hotel
  
  Check in and freshen up, have refreshment and your tour starts
  
  Today you will visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Baug and Shankaracharya Temple
  
  Nisant Bagh is the second largest terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake. It has a broad cascade of terraces lined with avenues of chinar and cypress trees, which starts from the lakeshore and reaches up to an artificial façade at the hill end.
  
  Shalimar Bagh also referred to as the "Crown of Srinagar", linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake. It has three terraces and is well known for chini khanas, or arched niches, behind garden waterfalls.
  
  Shankaracharya Temple is situated on top of the Shankaracharya Hill. Dedicated to Lord Shiva temple is at a height of 1,000 feet above the valley floor and overlooks the city of Srinagar

• Day 2 : SONAMARG

  Today you will be visiting Sonmarg - ‘the meadow of gold’.
  
  Have your breakfast and be ready for a great day at Sonamarg.
  
  Sonamarg literally means ‘the meadow of gold’ and with snow-capped mountains set against a spectacular blue sky, it is as close to heaven as it can get.
  
  The Sindh River flows through the valley. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during summer.
  
  Sonamarg is also the base of a major trek that passes along several mountain lakes — Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangabal.
  
  It is also the take off station for the drive to Ladakh across Zojila, a major pass in the Great Himalayan Range, through which the Srinagar–Leh Road passes.

• Day 3 : GULMARG

  After breakfast leave from Srinagar and drive to Gulmarg.
  
  Enjoy a pony ride and also enjoy Gondola ride (cable car) to Khailanmarg and back.
  
  Gulmarg : Exotic flowers, timeless snow-covered slopes and the mighty Himalayan range in the backdrop – that is the charm of the elegant Gulmarg. Also known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ boasts of the world’s highest golf course, a triangular frozen lake, and a famous Gondola ride.
  
  Khilanmarg is a small valley located about 6 kilometres away from the Gulmarg. The meadow, carpeted with flowers in the spring, is the site for Gulmarg's winter ski runs and offers a view of the surrounding peaks and over the Kashmir Valley.

• Day 4 : PAHALGAM

  After breakfast leave from Srinagar and drive to Pahalgam.
  
  Pahalgam is a hill station with Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple. The Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley.
  
  Avantipur Hills: Located en-route Pahalgam. Built by King Avantivarman, these fascinating temples still hold the interest of both religious devotees and history buffs till date.
  
  Betab Valley: Made popular by the eponymous Bollywood film, Betaab valley is the stuff that picture postcards are made of. A place of surreal beauty, this charming valley is one of the best places to visit in Pahalgam.
  
  Baisaran Valley: called mini-Switzerland because of its picturesque beauty.
  
  Aru Valley is incredibly beautiful with picturesque vistas, majestic snow covered Himalayan peaks at the backdrop and the mountain river flowing through it.

• Day 5 : RETURN TO DELHI

  Wake up amid Dal lake after enjoying one night stay on a Boat house
  
  Srinagar’s houseboats are luxury abodes, anchored in a peaceful lake, surrounded by mighty mountains. The warm, cozy haven keeps you snug all night and lets you enjoy the splendid views as the sun starts to rise. The experience will certainly sweep you of your feet and there’s no way you can miss it if a Kashmir trip is on the cards.
